Sometimes when you format the Device (Mobile) Touch Calibration Data deletes and you can't call because you can't access to the device properly. Suppose, when Touch Screen Broken and mistakenly you have formatted the mobile without backing up Flash File. You can calibrate Touch screen replacing small or big touch screen than the mobile has. But, this is tedious process and waste of time also.

Volcano has inbuilt Touch Calibration function. So, you do not waste time doing bla bal bal for this.

You can calibrate Touch Screen 3 ways:

1. RX‐TX method 2. D+/D‐ Method 3. Flashing Method 1. RX‐TX method:

The following ways you can calibrate Touch Screen:

1. Open Volcano in “MTK” interface 2. Tick "Auto Detect Pinout"

3. Tick "Touch Screen"

4. Choose "Boot File" if necessary 5. Choose "Baud Rate" if necessary 6. Click on "RUN"

7. Press and hold the Power Button until software detects mobile's pin‐out and starts boot downloading.

8. Click on "Start" in new windows and wait few seconds 9. Click on "Calibrate Automatically"

10. Wait until you see the message "Screen Calibration Successfully".

That's All.

2. D+/D‐ Method:

The following ways you can calibrate Touch Screen:

1. Open Volcano Software in "Detect" Tab 2. Choose "D+/D‐ (Mstar)"

3. Click on "Detect" button 4. Click on "Set Pinout"

5. Go to “MTK” interface 6. Un‐tick "Auto Detect Pinout"

7. Tick "Touch Screen"

8. Choose "Boot File" if necessary 9. Choose "Baud Rate" if necessary 10. Choose "Mobile Port”

11. Click on "RUN"

12. Choose "Mobile Port"

13. Un‐tick "Power Off/On automatically before Operation"

14 Click on "Start" in new windows and wait few seconds.

15. Click on "Calibrate Automatically"

16. Wait until you see the message "Screen Calibration Successfully".

That's All.

3. Flashing:

You have to save Flash File before "Format" the mobile. Saving Flash File means also saving Calibration Data. Sometimes, Calibration Data will be lost after format. The ultimate solution is to take flash File BACK UP. SPD Calibration is only possible if you have backup data or you have to flash the mobile with working Flash File from working Device.

Network

There might be several reasons when there is no network in the Device. Among them, some reasons are:

1. IMEI Corrupted 2. NV data Corrupted 3. Country Lock 4. Other Problem 5. Hardware

You can fix network 4 ways if there is no signal on the device:

1. IMEI Repairing 2. NV files Writing 3. Fix Signal

4. SP Unlock

IMEI repairing and the NV Writing are already discussed previous topic. So, we are going to focus “Fix signal “and “Unlock” here:

3. Fix Signal

Sometime, there might be problem of signal which may caused by the software and which could be fixed "Fix Signal" function of the Volcano Box Software. "Fix Signal" only supports 6253 CPU Yet.

You can fix the signal of 6253 CPU following ways:

1. MTK ‐ RX/TX Method 2. MTK ‐ D+/D‐ Method

1. MTK ‐ RX/TX Method

1. Open the Volcano Software in “MTK” interface 2. Tick "Fix Signal"

3. Tick "Auto Detect Pinout"

4. Choose Boot File if necessary 5. Choose Baud Rate if necessary 6. Click "RUN"

7. Press and hold the Power Button until software detects mobile's pin‐out and starts boot downloading.

8. Choose Mood 1 or 2 according to the Device (Mobile) 9. Click on "Start"

10. Press and hold Power Button until the animation not starts.

11. Choose "Mode" 1 or 2 depending of the Device (Mobile) 12. Click on "Fix Signal"

That's All

2. MTK ‐ (D+/D‐) Method

You can fix the signal of 6253 CPU following ways:

1. Open the Volcano Software in ''DETECT" tab 2. Choose Detect Type as "(D+/D‐) Mstar"

3. Click on Boot Key, if necessary.

(Normally BOOT KEY might be Call Button, Call Button + Home Button etc.) 4. Click on "Detect" button and wait until detection is completed.

5. Click on "Set Pinout"

6. Go to MTK interface 7. Tick "Fix Signal"

8. Un‐tick "Auto Detect Pinout"

9. Choose Boot File if necessary

10. Choose Port Refresh to get back Mobile Diagnostic Port (Note: Mobile Diagnostic Port = Port that is occupied by the Device i.e. Mobile)

11. Choose “Baud Rate” if necessary 12. Click "RUN"

13. Hold Power Button of the Device (Mobile)

14. Choose Port Refresh to get back Mobile Diagnostic Port again.

15. Choose “Mood” 1 or 2 according to the Device (Mobile) 16. Un‐tick "Power Off‐On automatically before Operation"

17. Click on "Start"

18. Press and hold Power Button until the animation starts.

19. Choose "Mode" 1 or 2 depending of the Device 20. Click on "Fix Signal"

That's All

5. SP Unlock (Network unlock)

MTK mobile only supports SP UNLOCK with RX/TX method. You can unlock (Network Lock) using the following 2 ways (Both Necessary):

1. Lock code ‐ Already Discuss in Previous Topic (SECURITY CODE) 2. SP Unlock

Step ‐1. Lock code

1. Open the Volcano Software in “MTK” Interface 2. Tick "Auto Detect Pinout"

3. Tick "Lock Code"

4. Choose “Boot File” if this is necessary 5. Tick "Auto Pinout"

6. Choose “Baud Rate” if necessary 7 Click on "RUN"

8. Press and hold the Power Button of the Device for few seconds.

9. Choose “Mood” 1 or 2 according to the Device (Mobile)

10. Tick "Power Off‐On automatically before Operation" if the Operation is from RX/TX 11. Click on "Start"

12. Press and hold Power Button until the animation screen not start.

13. Choose "Mode" 1 or 2 depending of the Device 14. Click on "Clear‐Phone Clock"

Step ‐2. SP Unlock

1. Open the Volcano Software in “MTK” Interface 2. Tick "Auto Detect Pinout"

3. Tick "SP Unlock"

4. Choose Boot File if this is necessary 5. Tick "Auto Pinout"

6. Choose Baud Rate if necessary 7. Click on "RUN"

8. Press and hold the Power Button for few seconds.

9. Wait until Operation is completed
