Access to Archival Databases Project (AAD)

AAD is the first publicly accessible application developed under the auspices of the ERA Program's progressive deployments strategy. This strategy provides flexibility to deploy prototypes, pilots and testbeds and enables NARA to address pressing needs and issues where it seeks to learn valuable lessons from experience prior to

implementation of the ERA system. With its initial launch in February 2003, AAD provides Internet access to more than 30 archival series of electronic records, which include over 350 data files totaling well over 50 million unique records.

Data Intensive Cyber Environments (DICE)

NARA Project on Persistent Archives and Electronic Records Management This site contains data and publications on collaborative research by NARA, DICE, and other organizations.

NHPRC Project on Methodologies for Preservation and Access of Software-Dependent Electronic Records

The National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) is sponsoring additional research by SDSC into other aspects of electronic records preservation.

U.S. InterPARES Project
