The church is decorated for Easter. Have a look around – color, nature, icons, water, oil; hear the music, the words; see pictures and hear God’s word.
There is ordinariness in an Easter garden.
Strange, isn’t it? That Jesus appeared first in a garden, not in a temple.
We are now the temple!
The next bit of Easter – go and tell. This too was to the ordinary. The unexpected ones, the women. Who would have thought he’d do that – he hasn’t changed a bit. He has and he has- n’t!
The divine is ordinary as well. They take a while to recognize and then it’s the same Jesus.
The one they knew and loved. We sometimes meet people who got a promotion or something big happened and we realize that deep down they are still the same…Jesus was new but then they realized that for now and forever he would still be the same, finding us and loving us in the ordinary. On our good days and bad days, in goodness and weakness. And on our bad days he can bring the best out of us. Like his
bad days brought out the best in him. When we can say little, he sings Alleluia in us. Doing us a world of good so as we could do the world a world of good.
His words of resurrection echo today in all that is in this church, its color, sounds, and above all in the humanity here. We will al- ways have the echo of Jesus, he is risen today: Alleluia, alleluia.

La iglesia está decorada para la Pascua. Miren a su alrededor: co- lor, naturaleza, íconos, agua, aceite; escucha la música, las pala-
bras; ver fotos y escucha la palabra de Dios.
Hay ordinariez en un jardín de Pascua. Extra- ño, ¿verdad? Que Jesús apareció primero en un jardín, no en un templo. ¡Ahora somos el templo!
La próxima parte de la Pascua: ve y cuenta.
Esto también fue para lo común. Los inespe- rados, las mujeres. Quién hubiera pensado que haría eso, no ha cambiado un poco. ¡Él ha cambiado y él no ha cambiado!
Lo divino es ordinario también. Toman un tiempo para reconocer y luego es el mismo Jesús. El que ellos conocían y amaban. A veces nos encontramos con personas que ob- tuvieron un ascenso o sucedió algo grande y nos damos cuenta de que en el fondo siguen siendo los mismos ... Jesús era nuevo pero luego se dieron cuenta de que por ahora y para siempre seguiría siendo el mismo, en- contrándonos y amándonos en el ordinario.
En nuestros días buenos y malos, en bondad y debilidad. Y en nuestros días malos, él puede sacar lo mejor de nosotros. Al igual que sus malos días trajo lo mejor de él. Cuando podemos decir poco, él canta Aleluya en nosotros. Haciéndonos un mundo de bien para que podamos hacer del mundo un mundo de bien.
Sus palabras de resurrección hacen eco hoy en todo lo que hay en esta iglesia, su color, sonidos y, sobre todo, en la humanidad aquí.
Siempre tendremos el eco de Jesús, ha resucitado hoy: Aleluya, aleluya.

Dear Parish Family,
Happy Easter to each of you and may today's joy stay with you throughout the year. When we think about the miracle of Easter, we realize that no one witnessed the Resurrection. They all saw evidence of Christ's rising and some even saw and talked to Jesus.
We see and believe because of their witness and the details they share. The witness of Peter, John, Paul, and Mary Magdalene enables us to remove the malice and wickedness from our lives so that we can live in sincerity and truth. By dying with Christ in baptism, we are raised up to preach the joy of a resurrection that is the result of our dying and risings.
Each Mass we attend lets us eat and drink with the Risen One and become what we eat and drink. Sent forth, our witness feeds the world with the power of God's merciful love. Celebrate this Good News today!!

Querida Familia de la Parroquia,
Feliz Pascua para cada uno de ustedes y que la alegría de hoy permanezca con ustedes durante todo el año. Cuando pensamos en el milagro de la Pascua, nos damos cuenta de que nadie fue testigo de la
Resurrección. Todos vieron evidencia de la resurrección de Cristo y algunos incluso vieron y hablaron con Jesús.
Vemos y creemos por su testimonio y los detalles que comparten. El testimonio de Pedro, Juan, Pablo y María Magdalena nos permite eliminar la malicia y la maldad de nuestras vidas para que podamos vivir con sinceridad y verdad. Al morir con Cristo en el bautismo, somos resucitados para predicar el gozo de una resurrección que es el resultado de nuestras muertes y levantamientos.
Cada Misa a la que asistimos nos permite comer y beber con el Resucitado y convertirnos en lo que comemos y bebemos. Enviado, nuestro testigo alimenta al mundo con el poder del amor misericordioso de Dios. Celebra esta buena noticia hoy!

I wish to thank all the parents, who week after week encouraged and supported their children to attend classes, my admiration and respect for all the fathers and mothers who also, week after week, attended their parent classes to grow in the faith.
Next weekend, on April 7 and 8, our Second Year Confirmation Candidates will be at the Teresita Pines Lion’s Camp in Wrightwood, experiencing their retreat, along with our retreat team of catechists and youth. They will reflect on this wonderful journey as they prepare to be fully initiated into the Catholic faith. Please keep them in your prayers so that they may hear the Shepherd Within.
We would also like for you to keep our Second Year First Communion students in prayer, as they prepare for their First Reconciliation on the 16th of April.
May they be enlighten to forgive as they are forgiven.
