Today's Public Meeting is about the
Spur 1966 Project, a proposed new
connection between Schuster Avenue on the UTEP campus and Paisano Drive via a bridge over I-10. The proposed project is dedicated to improving connectivity and mobility.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for you to review and comment on the proposed project.
No formal presentation will be given.

Gracias por asistir a esta Reunión Pública. El Departamento de Transporte de Texas (TxDOT, por sus siglas en inglés) les da la bienvenida.
Esta Reunión Pública trata el tema del Proyecto Spur 1966, una conexión nueva propuesta entre la Avenida Schuster en el campus de UTEP y la Calle Paisano a través de un puente sobre la carretera I-10. El proyecto propuesto mejoraría las conexiones y la movilidad.
El propósito de esta reunión es de dar al público una oportunidad para revisar y dar comentarios sobre el proyecto propuesto.

The proposed Spur 1966 project
is a new connection between
Schuster Avenue on the UTEP
campus and Paisano Drive via a
bridge over I-10.
The project
length is approximately 0.7 miles.
The proposed project would
improve connections and traffic
flow between the UTEP Campus,
surrounding medical facilities,
Sunset Heights and Kern Place
neighborhoods, and Mesa Street
with Paisano Drive. It also creates
an additional route to and from the
downtown area.
The proposed project will eliminate
the need for UTEP-bound traffic to
cut through the adjacent Sunset
Heights neighborhood to access
the UTEP facility.
Vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle
traffic will be accommodated by
the new Spur 1966 connection.

UTEP y la Calle Paisano a través de
un puente sobre la carretera I-10.
El proyecto tiene una longitud de
0.7 millas.
El proyecto propuesto mejoraría las

campus de UTEP, centros médicos
