Meet Father
Donohoe-“I am with you; wherever you are, wherever you go, I am with you.”
Father Stephen Donohoe embraced a vocation to serve as a priest of the Archdiocese of Boston. As a young man, he felt the first signs of God’s presence in the Holy Eucharist; that force would become what he describes today as “the bedrock of his priesthood.”
After ordination, Father Donohoe became a military chaplain. During deployment, he provided for the spiritual needs of men and women facing combat. He never abandoned those entrusted to his care and stood by them at every point. Father Donohoe continues this steadfast ministry today in the parishes of the Archdiocese. He says “a great joy of ministry is to see the grace of God enlighten the lives of other people. If we bring people to the Lord, He’ll do everything.”
To help ensure priests like Father Donohoe are cared for as they live out their vocation, please support the special collection on September 15-16.
