In addition, inappropriate behavior would include any attempt to elicit personal information about the child. Make sure that you child under-stands that no passenger they meet needs to know things such as their full name, their home address, their telephone number, or where they are going. MASS CARDS
When a person is sick, in need of a prayer, or when grief strikes hard in the friend’s family with the death of a loved one, one of the best way to offer support and soothe the pain is to enroll that person in the Perpetual Mass League of the Scalabrinian Missionaries. Stop by the parish office and ask for a Mass Card. The secretary will further explain the advantages of such love offering.

Parents must come to the rectory one month in ad-vance of the date you wish to baptize, present a copy of birth certificate of the child. Children have to be under 6 years of age; parents and godparents must attend pre-baptismal classes, godparents must be catholic and confirmed, if godparents are married couple they must be married in the catholic church and practicing; also godparents must be 18 years and over. Donation: $30. Please be advised that a $15 fee will be charged for changing or canceling a date.

THE WATERS OF BAPTISM
When new sod is put in, it needs constant satura-tion with water. Landscapers say that this “knits” the sod to the soil. The same when a branch is grafted onto a tree: the poultice that joins them at the splice must be kept wet at all times. Water is the stuff that binds the very cells of our bodies to-gether. No wonder religions throughout all times and cultures have used it so prominently. When Jesus stepped into the Jordan for baptism, he “knit” himself to what had come before him. By going to the Jordan, he made himself one with the people of Israel who had crossed it into their Promised Land. With John the Baptist, Christ wove himself into the prophetic tradition that heralded the coming reign of God. He had become fully human in the waters of Mary’s womb, and by partaking in the rite of the baptism of repentance, Jesus identified himself with our sinful, frail humanity. It is through the waters of baptism that Christ continues to graft new members onto his Body, the Church; through these waters we are cleansed from sin and filled with the promise of grace, given our destiny for eternal life. For us, as for Jesus, it is also the waters of baptism that inaugurate our mission to proclaim the Good News.

LOS ESTACIONAMIENTOS de la parroquia
están a su disposición los fines de semana para cuando venga a Misa. En particular, los sábados el estacionamiento principal queda cerrado hasta las 3:30 pm para la seguridad de los niños que vienen al catecismo. Sin embargo tenemos el otro estacionamiento de pasto al otro lado de Vineland en frente de la iglesia, que usted puede usar cuan-do venga para bodas y quinceañeras. También los domingos éste queda abierto para su comodidad.
Favor de no bloquear los otros carros que ya es-tán en su espacio, tome en cuenta que cuando termina la misa las personas tienen que esperar por usted para ellos poder salir y no todos tiene el tiempo para esperar. Por eso tenemos a su disponibilidad el otro estacionamiento de enfren-te. Gracias por su colaboración y compresión.
