Shriners Hospital
A Fifty-Fifty Raffle to raise money for the
Shriners Hospital for Children has begun!
Miguel Ayala (Parishioner at Immaculate
Conception) organized this fundraiser as part
of his senior project to graduate from
Buhl High School.
He’s selling tickets at 1 ticket for 1dollar;
6 tickets for 5 dollars; an individual arm’s
length for 10 dollars; or a person’s arms
span for 15 dollars.
The winner will win half of the money raised
and the rest will go to benefit the children.
The winner will be announced on May 28 at
The Shrine Football game at Twin Falls High
School. Think of it as a donation to the
Hospital more than a raffle. Don’t miss your
chance to help a child get world class medical
care free of charge through the Shriners
Hospital.

Idaho Catholic Appeal

One Body. God blesses each and every

responded in support of the 2012 Idaho
Catholic Appeal which supports 13
diocesan ministries including Cultural
Ministries, Seminarian Vocations,
Clergy Special Needs, Parish Life and
Faith Formation Office, and Deacon and
Lay Ministries. Our parish goal is
$21,062.90 and so far our church has
pledged $9816.40, or 46.6% of our goal.

Idaho Catholic Appeal
We will begin our annual drive for the Idaho
Catholic Appeal on the Second Sunday of Lent.
We haven’t received any information
pertain-ing to the amount of our goal. What we need
from you is your generous support. Please
consider giving to this important program.
Pray to God and think of the widow in the
temple who gave from her need.
Lawns
Soon we will be needing some dedicated
per-son to mow and trim the lawns. We have the
equipment, all that we need is an operator.
Submit your name to any council person and
we will select the lucky person from a random
draw. It is OK to submit your name multiple

Palm Sunday:
We will meet in the Parish hall at 9:45 am to
start the Procession of Palms.
Washing of the feet
We need more men to participate in the
Wash-ing of the feet ceremony on Holy Thursday.

Divine Mercy Novena
Beginning at 7:00 PM on Good Friday, April 6th, we will start the Novena to the Divine Mercy, and pray this
novena each evening through Saturday, the 14th. Please join with us. The prayers will take approxi-mately 20 minutes. The Sunday following Easter
Sun-day, Pope John Paul II named, Divine Mercy Sunday. This great Pope, too ill to deliver personally his last homily, had it read by the Archbishop then serving as
the Secretary of State for the Vatican: “As a gift to humanity, which sometimes seems
bewil-dered and overwhelmed by the power of evil, selfish-ness, and fear, the Risen Lord offers his love that par-dons, reconciles, and reopens hearts to love. It is a love that converts hearts and gives peace. How much
the world needs to understand and accept Divine Mercy! Lord, who reveals the Father’s love by your death and resurrection, we believe in you and confi-dently repeat to you today, Jesus, I trust ion you, have
mercy upon us and upon the whole world.”
