1. Read the text and answer the questions below. Use complete sentences.
The Irish airline company, Ryanair and the British company EasyJet are very successful and people love using them. Why? Because they're cheap! Their flights are much cheaper than flights on big airlines, such as British Airways, Air France, Iberia and Lufthansa.
Ryanair and EasyJet fly to and from more than 25 countries in Europe and Norh África.
Millions of people buy tickets on their websites. Travellers can also use the same websites to rent a car and find hotel rooms.
These two airlines have to keep their prices low to attract passengers. How do they do it? Both airlines put more people in their aeroplanes and Ryanair often flies to smaller and cheaper airports.
But why doesn't everyone fly Ryanair or EasyJet? Some travellers prefer regular airlines because their flights are more comfortable and there are better services. On a regular airline, travellers can choose the window or aisle seat, they can fly with big suitcases and the flight attendants will bring them a meal and drinks. Ryanair and EasyJet charge their passengers more money for all of these basic services.
So the next time you want to fly somewhere, ask yourself this question: What's more important : a cheap flight or a comfortable one?
