RESUMEN
La presente investigación titulada una defensoría del contribuyente con facultad de defensa legal como garantía del principio de igualdad, tuvo como objetivo analizar de qué manera una defensoría del contribuyente con facultad de defensa legal garantiza el principio de igualdad.
La metodología desarrollada tuvo enfoque de investigación cualitativo, el tipo de investigación es básica o teórica, el diseño de investigación empleada es interpretativo. Se realizó el manejo de datos de información mediante; el análisis sistemático, hermenéutico y análisis exegético. La técnica de recolección de datos fue la entrevista mediante la guía de entrevista a especialistas en la materia tributaria.
Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que la instauración de una defensoría del contribuyente tiene como finalidad garantizar derechos de los contribuyentes de escasa capacidad económica que no pueden contar con especialistas en materia tributaria para ejercer el derecho defensa en materia tributaria, por ello la creación de una Defensoría responde a frenar las brechas sociales de desigualdad y materializar su derecho de defensa.

ABSTRACT
The present investigation entitled a taxpayer ombudsman with the power of legal defense as a guarantee of the principle of equality, aimed to analyze how a taxpayer ombudsman with the power of legal defense guarantees the principle of equality.
The methodology developed had a qualitative research approach, the type of research is basic or theoretical, the research design used is interpretive.
Information data management was carried out through; systematic analysis, hermeneutic and exegetical analysis. The data collection technique was the interview through the interview guide to specialists in tax matters.
Guarantee the rights of taxpayers with low economic capacity who cannot count on specialists in tax matters to exercise the right of defense in tax matters, for this reason the creation of an Ombudsman responds to curbing the social gaps of inequality and materializing their right of defense.
