Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund Report – Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students 8/24/2020
International Training Careers received education stabilization funds under Section 18004(a)(1) of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”), Public Law No: 116-136. This Fund Report applies to the student portion received under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund that is designated exclusively for emergency financial aid grants to students.
The institution appreciates that Congress and the President have made these critical funds available for eligible students who have expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the coronavirus pandemic.
We take receipt of these federal funds seriously and are distributing them in accordance with the CARES Act and implementing guidance.
The institution is making the below information available for transparency purposes and in compliance with the U.S. Department of Education’s (“Department”) Electronic Announcement of May 6, 2020. 1. The institution signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students. The institution has used, or intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide emergency financial aid grants to students.
2. The total amount of funds that the institution has received from the Department pursuant to the
institution’s Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students is $198,647 3. The total amount of emergency financial aid grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of
the CARES Act as of the date of this Fund Report is $198,672
4. The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, and thus eligible to receive emergency financial aid grants under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act, as of the date of this Fund Report is 48 5. The total number of students who have received an emergency financial aid grant under Section
18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of the date of this Fund Report is 48

ATTACHMENT A
International Training Careers Policies and Procedures for Awarding Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students from the Higher Education Relief Fund (HE-ERF) under the CARES Act
ITC has earmarked $198,647 in grant money to distribute to eligible students. The following student population may be eligible for grants:
- Students who were active March 13th, 2020 (when a national emergency was declared) or started class between 3/14-5/31 will have a disbursement processed during the week of 6/1/2020 if they meet the following criteria:
1. Students must be currently active (active, probation, LOA, internship) 2. Students must be in the Patient Care Technician program
3. Student must have required POG documentation on file
4. Students must sign and return attached request form demonstrating that they have incurred expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus
5. Students must sign and return attached acceptance form certifying that they have provided truthful information
6. Students must have completed a FAFSA that shows that they are eligible to receive Title IV funds - The money will be distributed evenly between this student population

proporciona fondos de emergencia para estudiantes e instituciones afectadas por la pandemia COVID-19. El 9 de Abril de 2020, el Secretario de Educación de EE. UU. Anunció que los fondos para estudiantes se pondrían a disposición de las instituciones para sean distribuidas a los estudiantes que hayan incurrido en gastos
relacionados con la interrupción de las operaciones del campus debido al coronavirus, incluidos los gastos elegibles bajo el costo de asistencia del estudiante, como alimentos, vivienda, materiales del curso, tecnología, atención médica y cuidado infantil.
Para que estas Ayudas de Fondos Federales de Emergencia se otorguen de manera justa y conforme, usted (y todos los estudiantes solicitantes) deben proporcionar información a la institución sobre los gastos relacionados con el coronavirus en los que ha incurrido.
