Las Macrofibras actúan luego de la fisuración, controlando el ancho de las
mismas, no aumenta la resistencia a compresión o flexión porque primero falla
la matriz cementicea.
Elevados contenidos de fibras pueden
afectar la trabajabilidad
de los
hormigones, debiendo contemplarse la posibilidad de aumentar la cantidad de
finos y la utilización de un super plastificante para aumentar la fluidez sin
segregación.
