CAUTION: Metra recommends disconnecting the negative battery terminal before beginning any installation, unless the vehicle manufacturer recommends against so. Please check with your local Dealership for more information. All accessories, switches, climate controls panels, and especially air bag indicator lights must be connected before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition. Also, do not remove the factory radio with the key in the on position, or the vehicle running. It would be best to remove the key from the ignition and then wait a few seconds before removing the factory radio.

Dash Disassembly

1. Unclip and remove the trim panel surrounding the factory radio. (Figure A)

2. Remove (4) T-20 Torx Screws securing the radio. (Figure B)

3. Unplug and remove the radio.

4. Cut shaded area at the top of the radio cavity. (Figure C)

Kit Assembly

1. Attach the (4) supplied white panel clips to the radio housing. (Figure A)

2. Attach the pocket to the radio

brackets using (4) supplied

#8 x 3/8” Phillips screws. (Figure B)

3. Remove the metal “DIN” sleeve and trim ring from the aftermarket radio.

4. Attach the radio brackets to the radio using the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure C)

5. Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna connector in the dash, and complete all necessary connections to the radio. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra and/or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the radio for proper operation.

6. Reassemble the dash in the reverse order of disassembly using the 99-6532 radio trim panel

PRECAUCIÓN: Metra recomienda desconectar la terminal negativa de la batería antes de iniciar cualquier instalación, a menos que el fabricante del vehículo recomiende lo contrario. Verifique con su concesionario local si existe más información. Todos los accesorios, interruptores, paneles de controles de clima y especialmente las luces del indicador de las bolsas de aire deben estar conectados antes de reconectar la batería o ciclar la ignición. Además, no quite el radio de fábrica con la llave en la posición de encendido ni con el vehículo funcionando. 1. Desenganche y retire el panel de moldura que rodea el radio de fábrica. (Figura A)

2. Quite los (4) tornillos Torx T-20 que sujetan el radio. (Figura B)

3. Desconecte y quite el radio.

4. Cut área sombreada en la parte superior de la cavidad radio. (Figura C)

1. Una los (4) ganchos blancos del

panel suministrados a la carcasa

del radio. (Figura A)

2. Una la cavidad a los soportes del radio con los (4) tornillos Phillips #8 x 3/8” suministrados. (Figura B)

3. Quite la manga de metal “DIN” y el anillo de moldura del radio de mercado secundario.

4. Una los soportes al radio usando los tornillos que vienen con el radio. (Figura C)

5. Localice el arnés de cableado de fábrica y el conector de la antena en el tablero y realice todas las conexiones necesarias al radio. Metra recomienda el uso de adaptadores adecuados de acoplamiento de Metra y/o de AXXESS. Vuelva a conectar la terminal negativa de la batería y pruebe el radio para verificar que funcione correctamente.

6. Vuelva a armar el tablero en orden inverso al desensamble, usando

el panel de moldura del radio

99-6532 en lugar del panel del radio de fábrica.
