PRESENTACIÓN
En esta Memoria de Investigación se recoge el conjunto de los principales resultados de investigación alcanzados por las profesoras y profesores de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales durante el año 2021. Este año, aunque ya pasados los peores días del confinamiento del fatídico 2020, aún se ve afectado por medidas restrictivas a la libre movilidad y a las concentraciones de personas impuestas por la epidemia COVID-19. En este difícil marco, con la imposibilidad de celebrar reuniones presenciales y con significativos retrasos en los plazos asociados al proceso de revisión editorial de las publicaciones, cabe destacar el importante esfuerzo realizado por el PDI de la Facultad. Este esfuerzo se refleja en una clara mejoría del posicionamiento de las publicaciones en revistas indexadas y en el aumento del número de proyectos obtenidos en convocatorias competitivas. Esta mejora, que se encuadra en un claro proceso de impulso a la visibilidad de la producción científica y de mejora en el posicionamiento de esta producción, es el reflejo de una clara apuesta del colectivo de profesoras y profesores de la Facultad por incentivar la investigación de calidad. Un colectivo que está integrado por más de doscientos investigadores y con una distribución prácticamente equilibrada por géneros, como se recoge en el Anexo 4, una situación que nos distingue frente a otras disciplinas.
Con esta memoria cumplimos con la obligación de transparencia que exige rendir cuentas de nuestras actividades como personal docente e investigador a la comunidad universitaria y a la sociedad en general. Se incluye el listado de los grupos de investigación consolidados y emergentes, y el detalle de los proyectos de investigación y transferencia en curso en 2021, la lista de investigadores de la Facultad ordenados por departamentos y con el correspondiente enlace al Portal de Producción Científica, y termina con un detallado análisis bibliométrico de la producción científica de la Facultad. A modo de resumen, durante el año 2021 se publicaron 204 artículos científicos, cifra ligeramente inferior a la del año 2020 pero que refleja un claro avance en la presencia en las revistas mejor posicionadas. Como reflejan los datos, la mayoría de las aportaciones han sido publicadas en revistas indexadas, mostrando una gran presencia de publicaciones que ocupan el primer cuartil (Anexo 1). También en el caso de los libros y capítulos de libros se repite esta misma apreciación, con 38 contribuciones de un total de 71 situadas en ranking Q1. Asimismo, durante este mismo año 2021 se defendieron, a pesar de las dificultades antes mencionadas, 17 tesis doctorales y se mantuvieron vivos 16 proyectos de investigación del Plan estatal de I+D+i con investigadores principales (IPs) de la Facultad.
Todo este compendio de información no sería posible sin el trabajo de todo el personal de la Biblioteca de Económicas que año tras año nos muestra su excelente trabajo en la elaboración de las memorias de investigación. Especialmente es de agradecer el papel de Sonsoles Jiménez quién coordina todo este esfuerzo de recopilación, búsqueda y análisis bibliométrico con excepcional competencia y que posibilita que esta Memoria vea la luz. Memoria que, en último término, es el reflejo de la vocación investigadora de todas las profesoras y profesores que formamos esta Facultad y a quienes corresponde este último agradecimiento. Vuestro trabajo y esfuerzo, vuestra capacidad de adaptación a los escenarios cambiantes de política universitaria y sobre todo vuestra curiosidad intelectual son los que contribuyen a que sigamos progresando en el ámbito de la investigación.
