Presentations of Famous Hispanic People
for Spanish Classes
Oral Presentation
Each student is required to select and research a famous Latino(a) or Spaniard and present the information to the class in
Spanish. On a piece of construction paper the student must write the person’s name, the country of origin, the year of their
birth and the year of their death (if applicable) and one sentence in Spanish stating why they are famous. The student must
also include a picture of the person on the paper. The student must say an additional five sentences about the person in
Spanish.
The presentation is worth a total of 25 points.
You may read the information that you have included on the construction paper. However, you may not read the additional
five sentences.
A ten point deduction will be taken for reading the presentation.
5 points: pronunciation (1 pt. for each sentence)
5 points: grammatical accuracy (1 pt. for each sentence)
5 points: visual paper (include their name, country of origin, birthdate and death date, picture, and one sentence stating why
they are famous)
