• • • Easter Lilies
We have special Easter Flower envelopes found in the foyer of the church to dedicate a special Easter lily for a living or deceased loved one this Easter season.
• • • Stations of the Cross
This year we will have the Stations of the Cross in both English and in Spanish. Beginning Thursday after Ash Wednesday and every Thursday during the Lenten Season we will have the Stations of the Cross in Spanish immediately after the daily Mass (around 7:15 p.m.) in the main church. Beginning the Friday after Ash Wednesday and every Friday during the Lenten Season we will have the Stations of the Cross in English immediately after the daily Mass (around 7:15 p.m.). In addition the Daily Mass on Thursday and Friday will be celebrated in the main church during the Lenten Season only.
I am requesting any of our parish ministries and organizations who would like to help facilitate the Stations of the Cross on either day to contact the parish office and to sign up.
Sunday, March 25: Palm Sunday Normal Mass Schedule (5 minutes before each Mass there will be the blessings of palms in front of the Sacred Heart Chapel and a procession to the Church immediately following the blessing of palms).
Holy Monday, March 26: 6:30 p.m. No Mass PARISH PENANCE SERVICE:
We will have our annual Lenten Penance Service on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 10:00am to 12:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the main church. We will have several priests present to assist with confessions. I encourage everyone to please take this opportunity as a way of preparing our hearts, souls and minds for the Passion of Our Lord. Please note: there will be NO CONFESSIONS on Thursday, March 29th or Saturday, March 31st during Holy Week.
Holy Tuesday, March 27: 10:30 AM Chrism Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Parish (The Chrism Mass is the special Mass where the new oils will be blessed for the new year. It is also the day when all the priests of the diocese gather together with their bishop to renew their ordination promises).

Tenemos los sobres especiales para un lirio de Pascua para un ser querido viviente o fallecido durante el tiempo de Pascua. Los sobres especiales se encuentran en la entrada de la iglesia.

Este año vamos a tener las Vía Crucis en inglés como en español. Comenzando el jueves después de miércoles de ceniza y todos los jueves durante la Cuaresma tenemos las Vía Crucis en Español inmediatamente después de la Misa diaria (alrededor 7:15 p.m.) en la iglesia principal. Comenzando el viernes después de miércoles de ceniza y cada viernes durante la Cuaresma tenemos las Vía Crucis en inglés inmediatamente después de la Misa diaria (alrededor 19:15). Además la Misa diaria el jueves y el viernes se celebrarán en la iglesia principal durante la Cuaresma solamente.

How to Become EIM Compliant: New Applicant We are all Called to Protect.
REQUIRED steps to complete the EIM process for all new applicants can be found at www.austindiocese.org.

On August 1, 2016, the Diocese of Austin will begin using a new education program for our EIM workshop, which will replace our current Basic/Refresher workshop format. The new program is a significant update of current training programs and we believe it is important for all persons that are required to be EIM compliant to participate in this program and receive this updated information.
Consequently, all clergy, religious, seminarians and employees, and all volunteers serving in ministry to minors or the vulnerable, will attend this new program when they are next due for a workshop.
Additionally, anyone new to the Diocese of Austin, wishing to serve in ministry here, must attend this new EIM workshop in order to be compliant with diocesan EIM policies. Verification of safe environment training from a previous diocese no longer serves as training in the Diocese of Austin. Please contact the EIM Office at emily-hurlimann@

El día 1ero.de agosto del 2016, la Diócesis de Austin comenzará a usar un nuevo programa educativo para el taller de EIM (Ética e Integridad en el Ministerio), el cual reemplazará el formato de nuestros talleres Básico y de Actualización. El nuevo programa es una actualización significativa a los programas actuales y creemos que es importante para todas las personas a quienes les es requerido cumplir con el programa de EIM que participen en este programa y reciban esta información actualizada. Por consiguiente, todo el clero, religiosos(as), seminaristas y empleados(as), y todos los voluntarios(as) sirviendo en ministerios a menores o vulnera- bles, atenderán este nuevo programa cuando les toque asistir a un taller.
Adicionalmente, cualquier persona nueva en la Diócesis de Austin que desee servir en un ministerio aquí, deberá, primeramente, asistir a este nuevo taller de EIM para poder estar en cumplimiento con las políticas diocesanas de EIM. La verificación de un entrenamiento para el ambiente seguro de una diócesis previa ya no se acepta como entrenamiento en la Diócesis de Austin.
