This European meeting is designed for gastroenterologists and endoscopists but also for physicians in training as well as for surgeons. The programme will have a similar format than preceding years, and the monographic topic will be
“Crohn´s disease” with emphasis on different therapeutic and endoscopic approaches with an interdisciplinary focus. It will include live video demonstrations permitting interchanges between faculty and registrants during procedures, using interactive training. The audio-visual transmission on double balloon enteroscopy will be performed by Prof. Yamamoto, from Japan, first authority and inventor of this emerging technique. An interactive workshop about capsule endoscopy will be performed too, with practical cases of Crohn´s disease.
