A
re you ready for some autumn fun? Next week your child will participate in a pumpkin carving demonstration, taste pumpkin seeds and pumpkin pie, andparticipate in several arts and crafts projects! Please note that we will partake in our
Halloween festivities on Friday, October 27. Your child may come dressed in his or her costume on this day. We recommend that children who come dressed in costumes follow these guidelines:
Avoid toy weapons as part of the costume.
No scary monsters, blood, and/or gore costumes (Parents, please use your best judgment).
Please remember that your child must be able to use the bathroom independently. Ties and snaps are difficult to manage on some costumes. We encourage children to dress as storybook characters, animals, or community helpers. We want to be considerate of families who do not wish to have their child participate in these activities. Please see your child’s teachers to ensure s/he participates in the non-Halloween autumn themed alternate activity.
