Location: Residencia de Deportistas La Cartuja, CEAR (Seville) Coordinates: 37.411955, -5.993194 (Event Centre)

The event centre is located at the rowing and canoeing club CEAR. From Monday 9 until Thursday 12, from 17:00 until 19:00 and Friday 13 from 17:00 until 23:00. This is where you can pick up your number bib, find information and buy and pick up your maps.

RV- parking in la Puebla del Río

Date: Friday 13 November

Location: Campo Ferial (La Puebla del Río)

It is possible to park caravans and mobile homes/RVs in the fair area of La Puebla del Rio, which is close to an area with many cafes, bars and restaurants.

The parking area in Dehesa de Abajo opens at 07:30 Saturday 14 November.

RV- parking offer at the car park Puente de los Remedios (Seville)

Date: Saturday 14 November and Sunday 15 November Location: Car park Puente de Los Remedios

Coordinates: 37.372391, -5.994577

On Saturday 14 November the car park Puente de los Remedios and the car park La Raza have a special price for participants, 10 € for 24 hours. To get the special price you need to show the number bib at the entry or at the exit of the car park.

The parking is 1.2 km (a 15 minute walk) from the sprint start area of, and 1.1 km (a 14 minute walk) from the long distance race start area.

RV- parking offer at the car park Avenida de La Raza (Seville)

The car park is located on the Avenida de La Raza, it is a bit further away from the competition area, but can be used if the car park Puente de los Remedios is full. They belong to the same company and have the same offer.

The parking is 2.1 km (26 minute walk) from the sprint start area, and 2.2 km (28 minute walk) from the long distance race start area.

Middle distance race, Dehesa de Abajo (La Puebla del Río) Date: Saturday 14 November

There will be a parking area for buses in the Dehesa de Abajo. In case of bad weather or parking difficulties, the buses would have to park in a waiting area and return when the race has finished. Waiting area no1 in la Venta de la Cruce 37.231270, -6.144762 and waiting area no2 in La Puebla del Río 37.260521, -6.074643 .

Sprint, Prado de San Sebastían / Parque de María Luisa (Seville) Date: Saturday 14 November

On Avenida de Portugal there is a parking area for tour buses where it is possible to let people on and off the bus. It is however forbidden to stay parked in that area so parking is recommended on the Avenue of La Raza.

Long distance race, Jardines de Cristina / Historic city centre (Sevilla) Date: Sunday 15 November

Time: 09.00 - 14.00

Coordinates to the parking: 37.379067, -5.992343 (Calle La Rábida 3)

In the Calle La Rabida there is a parking area for tour buses where it is possible to let people on and off the bus. It is however forbidden to stay parked in that area so parking is recommended on the Avenue of La Raza.

Location: Dehesa de Abajo (La Puebla del Río) Distance: Middle distance

To go to the middle distance race from Seville you should take the direction of Coria - La Puebla del Río, and from there continue towards La Venta del Cruz. From this point the road narrows, but presents no problem for RVs and buses, the road is paved and leads to the Cortijo Dehesa de Abajo.

Parking area

When entering the car park you should place a number bib visibly on the dashboard of the vehicle to identify that you are a participant of the race, otherwise the staff of the organization will stop the vehicle for verification.

VEHICLE ACCESS TO THE COMPETITION AREAS

For travelling to the the competitions on Saturday and Sunday we recommend using public transport. There are good parking possibilities marked on the map, especially in the case of RVs.

Buses can use the tourist parking areas only for letting passengers on and off. It is forbidden to stay parked in the area of the competition.

WARM-UP AND START AREA

There will be an area in the Prado de San Sebastian Park (marked in red) for warming up and for the control of the starts. From there runners will go to the starting area at the outer perimeter of the Plaza de España building, at the height of the north tower. From this point the runners will emerge in groups of 15-20 persons with a time interval of one minute.

Since the race is loctated in the the city centre and based on the principle of fair play, access to the Maria Luisa Park is prohibited from 00:00 14 September until the end of the race. A map for warming up in the Prado de San Sebastian Park will be offered.

The finish line will be in the middle of the Plaza de España together with an area for spectators.

The parking is 1.2 km (15 minute walk) from the start of the Sprint, and 1.1 km (14 minute walk) from the start of the long distance race.

VEHICLES: 2 Euros (24 hour maximum)

BUSES FROM THE EVENT CENTRE TO THE AREAS OF THE SPRINT AND THE LONNG DISTANCE RACES

To go from the Event Centre (Residencia de Deportistas de La Cartuja) to the areas of the sprint and long distance races the following buses are recommended: C1, C2, C3 and C4. The frequency of the bus circulation on Sundays is between 15 and 20 minutes.

AIRPORT BUS SERVICE

The bus stops closest to the start area of the long distance race are at el Paseo Colón (Torre del Oro) and the Avenida de Carlos V (close to the Prado de San Sebastián). See sketch and time table.

BUS SERVICE TO THE SANTA JUSTA TRAIN STATION (AVE)

The bus stop closest to the start area of the long distance race is in la Avenida de Mª Luisa. The frequency of the bus circulation on Sundays is between 15 and 20 minutes. See sketch and time table.

There are several taxi companies in Seville. The rates and conditions of service are the same for all of them. Taxi is considered a public service so the taxi fares in Seville are regulated by the city. In every taxi there is a list showing all the rates. There are different rates; daytime during a normal week, holidays and also different surcharges for the transportation of luggage in the trunk of the taxi. For transportation between the city and the airport, either way, there is a flat rate of € 22.20 daytime on week days and € 24.75 nights and holidays.
