INSTALLATION

-Before finally installing the unit, connect the wiring temporarily and make sure it is all connected up properly and the unit and system work properly.

-Use only the parts included with the unit to ensure proper installation. The use of unauthorized parts can cause -Consult with your nearest dealer if installation requires the drilling of holes or other modifications of the vehicle. -Install the unit where it does not get in the driver's way and cannot injure the passenger if there is a sudden stop, like an emergency stop.

-Avoid installing the unit where it would be subject to high temperature, such as from direct sunlight, or from hot air, from heater, or where it would be subject to dust dirt or excessive vibration.

DIN FRONT/REAR-MOUNT

This unit can be property installed either from Front (conventional DIN Front-mount) or Rear (DIN Rear-mount installation, utilizing threaded screw holes at the sides of the unit chassis).

For details, refer to the following illustrated installation methods A and B.

- DIN FRONT-MOUNT (Method A)

Installation the unit

After inserting the half sleeve into the dashboard, select the appropriate tab according to the thickness of the dashboard material and bend them inwards to secure the holder in place.

b. Insert fingers into the groove in the front of frame and pull out to remove the frame. (When re-attaching the frame, point the side with a groove down wards and attach it.)

c. Insert the levers supplied with the unit into the grooves at both sides of the unit as shown in figure until they click. Pulling the levers makes it possible to remove the unit from the dashboard.

Removing the unit

1. Select a position where the screw holes of the bracket and the screw holes of the main unit become aligned (are fitted) and tighten the screws at 2 places on each side. 2. Screw

Note: the mounting box, outer trim ring, and half-sleeve are not used for method B installation.

- DIN REAR-MOUNT (METHOD B)

Installation using the screw holes on the sides of the unit. Fastening the unit to the factory radio mounting bracket.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

a. Make sure your car battery is a 12 volt (6 filler caps) negative ground system (if not, a converter will be necessary). b. Before starting wiring connections, disconnect the power supply by removing the fuse from fuse box at rear side. c. Connect the power wire to one of the extra terminals of the fuse box ISO connector harness provided.

d. Connect the black ground wire to a metal part of the car. It is important to make good contact.

e. Make other wiring connections as shown. Plug ISO connector harness to ISO connector and plug fuse to fuse box at rear side.

f. If your car does not have ISO connector, you can procure it from any car accessory shop. NOTES: INCORRECT WIRING OR OPERATION WILL AVOID THE WARRANTY OF THIS UNIT.

Fuse Replacement:

To replace the fuse, pull out the blown fuse

from the socket. Insert a new one with same rating,15A

POWER ON/OFF

Press any button to turn on The unit. Long press the knob to turn power off. AUDIO AND AREA SETTINGS

You can select the following settings by pressing the KNOB ONCE. Rotate it to adjust: BASS (BAS)-> TREBLE (TRE)-> BALANCE (BAL)-> FADER (FAD)->LOUD(LD ON/OFF) ->EQ (PO/ROCK/CLASSIC/EQ OFF)->BASS (BAS)->DX/LOC->STERO/MONO(STE/MO) ->Frequency Area (USA/EUR)

GENERAL OPERATION

- LOC / DX MODE

Use this mode to change between Local and Distant (DX) tuning mode. Local mode improves reception in some areas where the signal is too strong.

Use this control to select stereo or monaural reception for FM radio stations. You can sometimes improve reception of distant stations by selecting mono mode.

- FM MONO / STEREO BUTTON (MONO)

LONG PRESS DISP(SRC)button to display clock. LCD will display clock for 3-4 seconds and then resume to display current playing status (e.g. Frequency of Radio/AUX/Music information of USB/SD-MMC mode) When LCD is displaying clock, press DISP(SRC)button and clock digit will flash. Rotate knob to adjust. Press the knob again to switch between hours and minutes digits. Press DISP(SRC)button to confirm adjusted time.

At EQ off mode preset equalizer will be controlled by Bass / Treble setting. VOLUME KNOB

When the settings function is not activated, rotate the knob to adjust volume level.

While LCD displays USA or EUR rotate volume knob to switch between USA and EUR (Europe)frequency. Leave it For 3-4 seconds until current frequency menu resumes or press any button to Continue operation. Every time desired area frequency is selected, frequency and Turning step will be switched to corresponding settings automatically.

- SWITCHING BETWEEN USA AND EUROPE FREQUENCY

AUTO MEMORY STORE (AMS)

Whenever a USB or SD/MMC is being inserted, unit will automatically switch to USB or SD/MMC mode, does not matter the unit is currently in what mode.

When in USB or SD / MMC mode, if the USB or SD / MMC is being removed, unit will automatically switch to radio mode.

Connect the external device to the front 3.5mm jack on front panel, Press SRC button to select AUX IN mode, At AUX IN mode, LCD displays AUX.

AUTO MEMORY STORE: long press BAND AMS button to enter auto store mode. The radio will automatically search and store stations to the preset memories of the band. To stop auto store, press AMS button again.

The RESET button is located on the front panel (as shown on the diagram). Press it vertically with a ballpen or metal object will activate it. The reset button function is to be activated for the following reasons:

RESET THE SYSTEM

Initial installation of the unit when all wiring is completed. All the function buttons do not operate and reset is necessary. Error symbol on the display and reset is necessary.

Note: If the unit cannot function normally after resetting, please use a cotton swab soaked in isopropyl alcohol to clean the socket on the back of the control panel.

MP3/SD/USB OPERATIONS

When random play mode is selected, the tracks will be played in random order, press this key one more time to cancel random play mode.

Press this button to select Intro Scan function, the first 10 seconds of each track will be played sequentially until this button is pressed again, then normal play will resume at the current track.

Press this button briefly to pause MP3 play, press again to release pause.

M3)REPEAT BUTTON

Pressing this button will activate Repeat Function in the following order: LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL (LCD)

The LCD panel display the frequency, time and activated functions. NOTE:

It is a characteristic of LCD panel that if subjected to cold temperatures for an extended period of time, they will take longer time to illuminate than under normal conditions, in addition, the visibility of the numbers on the LCD may slightly decrease. The LCD read-out will return to normal when temperatures increase to a normal range.

STATION PRESET BUTTONS (M1-M6)

You can store & recall six preset radio stations by pressing M1-M6 buttons TO STORE A STATION: 1) select a band (if needed)

2) select a station by tuning up / down button

3) hold a preset button which you want store the station for at least 2 seconds. The preset number will appear on the display.

TO RECALL A STATION: 1) select a band (if needed)

2) press a preset button briefly to recall the stored station.

MMC/SD CARD & USB DEVICE OPERATIONS

START THE USB DEVICE MODE

1.The USB socket is accessible as indicated in picture 1.(P.1)

2.Plug in the USB drive / device completely as indicated in picture 1(P.1) and display will show USB to indicate that the USB drive / device is being plugged in correctly & the download has begun.

3.Does not matter which source the unit is in (TUNER,SD/MMC,AUX,etc), once a USB drive / device is being plugged into the unit, unit will automatically switch to USB mode.

4.All the USB files playback function is same as normal MP3 files playback.

Warning: Excessive weight or size USB drive/device may cause permanent & serious damage to the unit and may cause

access to the buttons on the front panel impossible. User must use an extension cable (provide by USB device manufacturer) to connect with USB socket to prevent any damage cause.

E - 5 MP3 TRACK UP / DOWN BUTTONS ( )

Under normal play mode, press the Track Up Button once to skip the playback to the next track, or press the Track Down Button once to return to the beginning of the current track, press this button one more time to skip to the previous track. When any of these buttons is pressed for more than 1 second, the MP3 player will enter Rewind/fast forward mode, this is indicated by the flashing track number on the LCD. When the key is released, normal play will resume.

TO STOP USB PLAYBACK

1.The USB drive / device is unplugged, the unit automatically switch to radio mode. Or user can press SRC button to switch to other mode.

2. User can press SRC button to choose USB mode (only if USB drive / device is inserted in the unit ) or any other modes, when they are in any mode.

COMPATIBILITY

Due to the fast changing technology world, this unit may or may not be compatible to all the USB drive / device available with all the future technology, especially those USB drive / device which require to install a driver. Always choose a compatible USB drive / device which is compatible with this unit.

NOTE:

START THE SD/MMC MODE

1.The SD/MMC card slot is located on top of the front panel as indicated in (P.2).

2. Insert the SD/MMC card into the card slot in the correct direction until a CLICK sound is heard.

3. The display will show SD-CARD to indicate that the SD or MMC card is correctly inserted. Once the SD or MMC card is inserted, the MP3 file will automatically loaded & playback will also start.

4. Does not matter the unit is in what mode (Tuner,USB,AUX,etc), once a SD or MMC card is being inserted in the unit, unit will automatically switch to SD / MMC mode.

5. All the SD / MMC files playback function is same as normal MP3 files playback.

TO STOP SD/MMC CARD PLAYBACK

1.Push on the end of the SD or MMC card to eject the sd or MMC card. Once the SD or MMC card is taken out, the unit will automatically switch to previous mode.

2.User can use the mode button to choose SD / MMC mode (only if SD or MMC is inserted in the unit ) or any other modes, when they are in any mode.

MP3 OPERATIONS (MP3/SD/MMC/USB FILES)

There are Four ways to select your favourite folder/tracks.

1.By Track Up/Down buttons ( )

Press track up/down button to skip track backward or forward.

Navigating through Folders and Tracks:

Loading MP3 File (SD/MMC / USB Mode)

During MP3 play, current Track Number & Time Elapsed of current track will be shown on the LCD.

If the track is ID3 compatible, press BAND AMS button once to display elapsed time and ID3 tag of currently playing track. The following categories of ID3 tag will be shown: 1. Track name SONG 2. Folder name DIR

2. Skip-10/+10 tracks by M5(F-) and M6(F+) buttons

Press M5(F-) / M6(F+) buttons for more than 1 second to skip 10 tracks backward or forward.

3.Folder UP/Down

Press M5(F-) / M6(F+) buttons briefly to skip to previous /next folder.

4. NAVIGATING THROUGH DIRECTORIES AND TRACKS

Under MP3 play modes, long press BAND AMS button and display shows TRK-SCH (Track Search). Then rotate VOLUME KNOB or press 1-6 to enter track numbers directly. Press VOLUME KNOB to confirm track number.

Instalación de la unidad

Una vez introducida el medio manguito en el salpicadero, seleccione la pestaña adecuada al grosor del material del salpicadero y doble hacia adentro para mantener el soporte en su lugar.

b.Introduzca los dedos en la ranura frente al marco y tire para extraer el marco (cuando vuelva a colocar el marco, alinee el lateral con la ranura hacia abajo y acóplelo).

Esta unidad puede ser instalada correctamente ya sea desde el Frente (montaje delantero DIN convencional) o desde Atrás (Instalación DIN de montaje trasero, utilizando agujeros roscados para tornillos en los lados del chasis de la unidad).Para más detalles, consulte los siguientes métodos de instalación ilustrados A y B.

c.Introduzca las barras suministradas con la unidad en las ranuras en ambos lados de la unidad como se muestra en la figura hasta que hagan clic. Tirando de las palancas se puede sacar la unidad del salpicadero. 5 2 4 3 2 5

MONTAJE TRASERO (MÉTODO B)

Instalación utilizando los orificios de tornillos de los laterales de la unidad.Ajuste de la unidad al Soporte de montaje de la radio de fábrica.

1. Seleccione una posición en la que los agujeros de los tornillos del soporte y los agujeros de los tornillos de la unidad principal queden alineados (ajustados) y apriete los tornillos en dos lugares en cada lado.

Nota: la caja de montaje, el anillo de reborde exterior y el medio manguito no se utilizan para la instalación con el método B.

CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA

a. Asegúrese de que la batería de su coche es de sistema de toma de tierra negativo de 12 voltios (de 6 tapones) (en caso contrario, necesitará un transformador).

b. Antes de comenzar a conectar los cables, desconecte el suministro de energía quitando el fusible de la caja de fusibles en la parte posterior.

c. Conecte el cable de energía de los terminales extra del manojo del conector ISO de la caja de fusibles proporcionado. d. conecte el cable de tierra negro a una parte metálica del coche. Es importante conseguir un buen contacto. e. Haga las otras conexiones de los cables como se muestra. Enchufe un arnés conector al conector ISO y conecte el fusible a la caja de fusibles en el lado posterior.

f. Si su coche no tiene conector ISO, puede conseguir uno en cualquier tienda de accesorios para vehículos.

NOTAS: SI LA INSTALACIÓN ELÉCTRICA O SU USO SON INCORRECTOS, QUEDARÁ ANULADA LA GARANTÍA DE ESTA UNIDAD.

Apriete cualquier botón para encender la unidad. Mantenga apretado el botón para apagar la unidad.

CONFIGURACIÓN DE AUDIO Y ÁREA

Puede seleccionar los siguientes ajustes apretando el BOTÓN UNA VEZ. Gírelo para ajustarlo:

BAJO (BAS) > AGUDO (TRE) > BALANCE (BAL) > ATENUADOR (FAD) > ALTO (LD ENCENDIDO/APAGADO) -> EQ (PO/ROCK/CLÁSICA/EQ APAGADO) -> BAJO(BAS) --> DX/LOC -> ESTÉREO/MON (STE/MO) -> Área de frecuencia (EEUU/EUR)

- MODO LOC / DX

Utilice este modo para cambiar de modo de sintonización local y distante (DX). El modo local mejora la recepción en algunas zonas en las que la señal es demasiado fuerte.

- BOTÓN DE FM MONO/ESTÉREO (MONO)

Utilice este control para seleccionar recepción estéreo o monoaural para estaciones de radio FM. En ocasiones puede mejorar la recepción de estaciones lejanas seleccionando el modo.

- CAMBIO ENTRE FRECUENCIA DE EEUU Y EUROPA

Mientras la LCD muestra EEUU o EUR gire el mando de volumen para cambiar entre frecuencia de EEUU y EUR (Europa). Déjelo durante 3-4 segundos hasta que el actual menú de frecuencia se reanude o pulse cualquier botón para continuar usando. Cada vez que una frecuencia de área deseada se seleccione, la frecuencia y la sintonización cambiarán a la configuración correspondiente automáticamente.

- CONFIGURACIÓN EQ

EQ APAGADO -> ROCK -> CLÁSICA -> POP

En el modo EQ apagado el ecualizador predeterminado se controlará con el ajuste de Bajo / Agudo.

BOTÓN DE VOLUMEN

Cuando la función de ajuste no está activada, gire el botón para ajustar el nivel del volumen.

- VISUALIZACIÓN Y AJUSTE DEL RELOJ

MANTENGA APRETADO el botón DISP(SRC) para mostrar el reloj. La LCD mostrará el reloj durante 3-4 segundos y luego volverá a mostrar el estado de reproducción actual (p.ej., frecuencia de radio/AUX/Música información de modo de USB/SD-MMC). Cuando la LCD muestre el reloj, apriete el botón DISP(SRC) y los números del reloj parpadearán. Gire el mando para ajustarlo. Apriete el mando de nuevo para cambiar de horas a minutos. Apriete el botón DISP/SRC) para confirmar la hora ajustada.

PRIORIDAD DE LAS FUENTES

Cuando esté en modo USB o SD/MMC, si se extrae el dispositivo USB o SD / MMC, la unidad cambiara automática al modo radio.

Conecte el dispositivo externo al enchufe frontal de 3.5 mm del tablero frontal. Pulse el botón SRC para seleccionar el modo AUX IN, en modo AUX IN, la pantalla LCD muestra AUX.

Siempre que se haya insertado un dispositivo USB o SD/MMC, la unidad cambiará automáticamente al modo USB o SD /MMC, no importa en qué modo esté actualmente la unidad.

USO EN MODO SINTONIZACIÓN (RADIO)

AUTO-ALMACENAMIENTO DE MEMORIA (AMS)

AUTOALMACENAMIENTO DE MEMORIA

:

pulse unos instantes el botón BAND AMS para entrar en el modo de auto-almacenamiento. La radio buscará automáticamente y guardará las estaciones en las memorias predeterminadas de la banda. Para detener el autoalmacenamiento, pulse el botón AMS de nuevo.

BOTÓN DE SINTONIZACIÓN ARRIBA/ABAJO

Pulse estos botones una vez para buscar automáticamente la estación siguiente. Pulse unos instantes la frecuencia de radio sintonizada manualmente.

CAMBIO DE BANDA

Pulse el botón de BAND AMS para cambar entre las bandas FM y AM F1, F2, F3, A1(M1); A2(M2).

REINICIALIZACIÓN DEL SISTEMA

El botón de reinicialización está situado en el tablero frontal (como se muestra en el diagrama). Pulse verticalmente con bolígrafo o un objeto de metal para activarlo. La función del botón de reajuste se activará en los siguientes casos: un

PANEL DE PANTALLA DE CRISTAL LÍQUIDO (LCD)

EL panel de LCD muestra la frecuencia, hora y funciones activadas.

NOTA:

Es una característica del panel de LCD que si se somete a temperaturas frías durante un período de tiempo prolongado, tardará más en iluminarse bajo condiciones normales; además, la visibilidad de los números de la LCD puede disminuir ligeramente. La lectura de la LCD volverá a la normalidad cuando la temperatura aumente a un intervalo normal.

Instalación inicial de la unidad cuando se termine toda la instalación eléctrica. Todos los botones de función no funcionan y es necesario reiniciarlo. Aparece un símbolo de error y es necesario reiniciar.

BOTONES DE REINICIALIZACIÓN DE LA ESTACIÓN (M1-M6)

Puede guardar y recuperar seis estaciones de radio preestablecidas pulsando los botones M1-M6.

PARA GUARDAR UNA ESTACIÓN:

1) seleccione una banda (si es necesario)

PARA RECUPERAR UNA ESTACIÓN:

1) seleccione una banda (si es necesario)

2) pulse un botón predeterminado brevemente para recuperar la estación guardada

2)seleccione una estación apretando el botón de sintonizado arriba / abajo

3)pulse un botón pre-determinado donde quiera guardar la estación durante al menos 2 segundos. El número predeterminado aparecerá en la pantalla.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL MP3/SD/USB

BOTÓN DE REPRODUCCIÓN/PAUSA M1 Y PRIMERA PISTA

Pulse este botón brevemente para pausar la reproducción del MP3, púlselo otra vez para detener la pausa.

M3)BOTÓN DE REPETICIÓN

Pulsando este botón se activará la función de repetición en el orden siguiente:RPT ON -> RPT OFF

M4) BOTÓN DE REPRODUCCIÓN AL AZAR

Cuando se seleccione el modo de reproducción al azar, las pistas se reproducirán al azar, pulse este botón otra vez para cancelar el modo de reproducción al azar.

BOTONES DE AVANCE /RETROCESO DEL M 3

En modo de reproducción normal, pulse el botón de avance una vez para saltar la reproducción hasta la pista siguiente o pulse el botón de retroceso para volver al comienzo de la pista actual, pulse este botón una vez más para saltar a la pista anterior. Cuando alguno de estos botones se pulse durante más de un segundo, el reproductor MP3 entrará en modo de rebobinado/avance rápido, indicado por un número de pista parpadeante en la LCD. Cuando suelte el botón, se reanudará la reproducción normal.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DE TARJETA MMC/ SD Y DISPOSITIVO USB

COMIENZO DEL MODO DE DISPOSITIVO USB

1.El acceso al puerto USB se indica en el dibujo 1 (P1).

2.Conecte el dispositivo USB como se indica en el dibujo 1 (P1) y la pantalla mostrará el USB para indicar que el dispositivo USB está conectado correctamente y que la descarga ha comenzado.

3.NO importe la fuente que haya en la unidad (RADIO, SD/MMC, AUX, etc.), una vez conectado el dispositivo USB en la unidad, esta pasará automáticamente al modo USB.

4.Toda la función de reproducción de archivos de USB es la misma que los archivos de MP3 normales.

Advertencia: un peso o tamaño excesivos del dispositivo USB puede provocar daños permanentes graves en la unidad y hacer que el acceso a los botones del panel frontal sea imposible. El usuario debe utilizar un cable alargador

(suministrado por el fabricante del dispositivo USB) para conectar al puerto USB y evitar cualquier daño.

PARA DETENER LA REPRODUCCIÓN DE USB

1.Se desconecta el dispositivo USB, la unidad automática pasa al modo de radio. O el usuario puede pulsar el botón SRC para pasar al otro modo.

2.El usuario puede pulsar el botón SRC para elegir el modo USB (sólo si el dispositivo USB está insertado en la unidad) o cualquier otro modo, cuando esté en cualquier modo.

PRECAUCIÓN

1.Siempre desenchufe el USB con suavidad de la unidad, si lo h a c e c o n d e m a s i a d a f u e r z a p u e d e p r o v o c a r d a ñ o s permanentes graves en la unidad y el dispositivo USB. Apriete este botón para seleccionar la función de Intro Scan, los primeros 10 segundos de cada pista se reproducirán consecutivamente hasta que vuelva a pulsarse el botón, luego se reanudará la reproducción normal en la pista actual.

Esta unidad no es compatible con discos duros portátiles.

INICIO DEL MODO SD/MMC

1.La ranura de la tarjeta SD/MMC está situada en la parte superior del panel frontal como se indica en (P2). 2.Introduzca la tarjeta SD/MMC en la ranura de la tarjeta en la dirección correcta hasta que se oiga un CLIC. 3.La pantalla mostrará SD-CARD para indicar que la tarjeta SD o MMC está bien introducida. Una vez introducida la tarjeta SD o MMC, el archivo MP3 se cargará automáticamente y comenzará la reproducción.

PARA DETENER LA REPRODUCCIÓN DE LA TARJETA SD/MMC

1.Apriete el extremo de la tarjeta SD o MMC para expulsar la tarjeta SD o MMC. Una vez extraída la tarjeta SD o MMC, la unidad pasará automáticamente al modo anterior.

2.El usuario puede utilizar el botón de modo para elegir el modo SD / MMC (sólo si se ha introducido SD o MMC en la unidad) o cualquier otro modo, cuando esté en cualquier modo.
