required that persons requesting those documents be

registered and be active members of Blessed

Sacra-ment Parish at least six months prior your request.

We can not provide any of these documents to people

not registered in the parish.

2018 MASS BOOK

On August 1st, 2017, the Mass Book for 2018 will be open. Please stop by the Rectory and book your intentions from Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Please remember that should be one name and one last name per intention per Mass. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

YEAR FOR VOCATIONS

On August 4th, on the occasion of the feast of Saint John Vian-ney, the Holy Cure of Ars in France, our Bishop DiMarzio will initiate the "Year of Vocations" which will be a propitious time in our communi-ties to pray for voca-tions to the Priest-hood and religious life. As a parish, we must organize a Vocational Promotion Committee that will coordinate with me, the different activ-ities that will be carried out throughout the year to promote and discern the vocational call of young adults who could have received “the call”. As a believing community we must always support these initiatives that seek to develop solid priestly vocations from our own communities. I ask you to pray for each one of us, the priests of the Blessed Sacrament, and to place our days and labor in the hands of the One who calls us to his service.

St. Ignatius of Loyola, Spanish San Ignacio de Loyola.

Baptized: Iñigo, born in 1491, Loy-ola (Spain). Died July 31, 1556 in Rome (Italy). Canonized in March 12, 1622. Feast day is July 31. Spanish theologian and one of the most influential figures in the Cath-olic Reformation of the 16th centu-ry, founder Society of Je-sus (Jesuits) in Paris in 1534. SPIRITUAL PARTICIPATION IN THE EUCHARIST We want to remind you that the hosts and wine,

candles and flowers used for the celebration of the Eucharist in our parish can be donated for a period of one week. They can be made for spe-cial intentions (sick, thanksgiving, birthdays, etc.), or in memory of a loved one. The inten-tion will be announced in the weekly bulletin

for all members of the parish join in prayer as a token of gratitude for the offering. Please come to the Rectory Office to make the arrangements.

AÑO DE LAS VOCACIONES

El 4 de Agosto y con ocasión de ce-lebrarse la festivi-dad de San Juan Vianney el Santo cura de Ars en Francia, nuestro Obispo DiMarzio dará por iniciado el "Año de las Voca-ciones" que será un tiempo propicio en nuestras comunida-des para rezar por

las vocaciones al sacerdocio y a la vida religiosa. Como pa-rroquia debemos organizar un Comité de promoción Voca-cional que coordinará junto con su servidor, las diferentes actividades que se llevarán a cabo a lo largo del año para promover y discernir el llamado vocacional de jóvenes adul-tos que podrían haber recibido ese llamado. Cómo comuni-dad creyente debemos siempre apoyar estas iniciativas que buscan desarrollar vocaciones sacerdotales sólidas y surgidas de nuestras propias comunidades. Les sigo pidiendo sus ora-ciones por cada uno de nosotros los sacerdotes del Santísimo Sacramento y para poner nuestros días y labores en manos de Aquel que nos convoca a su Servicio.

FESTIVIDAD DE SAN IGNACIO DE LOYOLA San Ignacio de Loyola, fue bautizado:

Iñigo, nacido en 1491, Loyola, País Vas-co (España). Falleció el 31 de Julio de 1556 en Roma (Italia). Canonizado el 12 de marzo de 1622. Fiesta es el 31 de Julio. Teólogo español y una de las figu-ras más influyentes de la Reforma Cató-lica del siglo XVI, fundador de la Com-pañía de Jesús (Jesuitas) en París en 1534.

PARTICIPACIÓN ESPIRITUAL EN LA EUCARISTÍA

Les recordamos que las hostias y el vino, las velas y las flores que se usan para la celebración de la Eucaristía en nuestra parroquia pueden ser donadas por un periodo de una semana: por una intención especial (enfermedad, acción de gracias, salud, cumpleaños, etc.), o en recuerdo de un ser querido. La intención será anunciada en el boletín semanal, para que los demás miembros de la parroquia, en gratitud por la ofrenda, se unan en la oración.
