Ha optado por adquirir un producto de alta calidad. Las instrucciones de uso forman parte del producto. Contiene indicaciones importantes acerca de la seguridad, uso y evacuación. Antes de usar el producto familiaricese con todas las indicaciones de manejo y de seguridad. Utilice el producto como se describe y para los ámbitos de aplicación indicados. Entregue todos los documentos cuando transfi era el producto a terceros.

Este aparato está destinado exclusivamente para el uso dental personal. Este aparato está destinado únicamente al uso doméstico privado. No está previsto para su uso comercial, industrial ni en áreas médicas o veterinarias.

-Indicaciones de seguridad

• No permite que penetre agua en el interior del aparato

y no lo sumerja en agua, para evitar daños.

• Estos cepillos dentales pueden ser utilizados por niños

y por personas con facultades físicas, sensoriales o

mentales reducidas, así como su falta de conocimientos

o de experiencia, siempre que sean vigiladas o hayan

sido instruidas correctamente sobre el uso seguro del

aparato y que hayan comprendido los peligros que

entraña.

• Los niños no deben realizar la limpieza ni el

manteni-miento del aparato a menos que se encuentren bajo

supervisión.

• Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato.

• No sumerja nunca el aparato de mano en agua u otros

líquidos. ¡Esto provocaría daños irreparables en el

aparato!

• El aparato no está previsto para que lo usen niños

menores de 3 años.

• El aparato no puede entrar en contacto con superfi cies

calientes. ¡Esto podría estropear el aparato de forma

irreparable!

• No abra usted mismo el aparato (excepto el

aloja-miento de las pilas). ¡Existe riesgo de lesiones debido

a un ensamblaje incorrecto!

Nota acerca de la manipulación de las pilas

Tenga en cuenta lo siguiente a la hora de manipular

pilas:

• No arroje las pilas al fuego. No vuelva a cargar las

pilas. ¡Existe riesgo de explosión y de lesiones!

• No abra las pilas, no estañe ni suelde las pilas nunca.

¡Existe riesgo de explosión y de lesiones!

• Compruebe las pilas de forma regular. Las pilas

gas-tadas pueden ocasionar daños al aparato.

• Si no va a utilizar el aparato durante un periodo de

tiempo prolongado, extraiga las pilas.

• Si las pilas están gastadas, utilice guantes de protección.

Limpie el compartimiento de las pilas y los contactos

de las pilas con un paño seco.

• Los niños no deben tener acceso a las pilas. Los niños

pueden meterse las pilas en la boca y atragantarse.

En caso de ingestión de una pila consulte

inmediata-mente con un médico.

Indicaciones acerca del uso

• A partir de una edad de 6 años aprox. su niña/o puede utilizar por sí solo el cepillo accionado por pilas. Sin embargo es imprescindible que le explique el manejo del cepillo y el uso del reloj de arena.

• Expliquele al niño que el mejor efecto de limpieza se logra si se mueve el cepillo de dientes suavemente de un diente al otro sin ejercer una presión excesiva.

Primer uso

Antes de poner el aparato en funcionamiento, cerciórese de que se encuentra en perfecto estado. En caso contrario, no deberá utilizarse.

• Abra el compartimiento de pilas deslizando la tapa de compartimiento de pilas hacia abajo 5.

• Coloque las pilas conforme a la polaridad que se indica en el comparti-mento de las pilas (véase “Cambio de las pilas”).

• Coloque de nuevo la tapa de compartimiento de pilas 5 de nuevo en la unidad de mano 2. Asegúrese de que está bien encajado. • Antes del primer uso, limpie el nuevo cabezal del cepillo 1 con agua

Montar / desmontar el cabezal del cepillo

Para retirar el cabezal de cepillo 1, gire en sentido horario y extraígalo a continuación hacia arriba.

Para colocar el cabezal de cepillo 1 coloquelo ligeramente desplazado sobre la unidad de mano 2 y girelo en sentido antihorario.

El cabezal del cepillo 1 debe encastrar al colocarlo. A fi n de evitar daños en el aparato, utilice únicamente cabezales de cepillo originales.

Manejo

Advertencia

Al principio pueden sangrar un poco las encías debido a una irritación extraña, esto es normal. Si esto se prolongase durante más de dos semanas, deberá consultar a su odontólogo.

• Coloque de nuevo el cabezal de cepillo 1 de nuevo en la unidad de mano 2.

• Humedezca el cepillo con el agua del grifo.

• Aplique un poco de pasta para los dientes sobre el cepillo húmedo.

Advertencia

Para evitar salpicaduras de la pasta dentífrica, coloque el cepillo primero sobre los dientes antes de encenderlo.

• Ajuste el cepillo de dientes en el interruptor de encendido 3 y gire el reloj de arena 6. Este le indica cuándo ha cumplido los dos minutos de limpieza recomendados por los odontólogos.

• Cepillo primero la parte exterior de los dientes. Coloque el cabezal del cepillo 1 sobre las encías y desplace el cepillo por toda la superfi cie de los dientes desde arriba hacia abajo.

• Empiece a limpiar cada diente desde las encías.

• Para cepillar la parte interior de los dientes proceda del mismo modo. • Para limpiar la superfi cie de masticación pase el cepillo giratorio por

todos los dientes ejerciendo una ligera presión.

• A continuación, cepille con cuidado la parte posterior de las muelas posteriores.

• Una vez que ha pasado la arena en el reloj de arena 6 y limpiados todos los dientes, apague el cepillo de dientes en el interruptor de apagado 4 ahora podrá retirar el cepillo de la boca.

• Cuando fi nalice de utilizar el cabezal de cepillo 1 limpielo cuidadosa-mente con agua corriente.

Estuche de viaje

Si desea llevarse el cepillo de diente de viaje, lo puede guardar en el estuche de viaje.

Limpieza y mantenimiento

• Limpie la unidad de mano 2 y el reloj de arena 6 sólo con un paño ligeramente húmedo. No utilice productos de limpieza o disolventes. Estos podrían dañar las superfi cies de plástico.

• Limpie los cabezales de cepillo 1 después de cada uso cuidadosamente con agua corriente. Le recomendamos que limpie cada 2 - 4 semanas los cabezales de cepillo 1 con líquido de uso comercial para prótesis de dientes. Después de unos 3 meses aprox., o como muy tarde cuando las celdas doblen hacia fuera, deberá utilizar un cabezal de cepillo 1 nuevo.

¡ Advertencia de daños en el aparato!

Para eliminar restos de pasta dentífrica reseca en la unidad de mando 2, no use objetos puntiagudos ya que de lo contrario podrá dañar la junta y por consiguiente el aparato.

Cambio de las pilas

Cuando aprecie que los movimientos del cepillo de dientes se debilita, es momento de cambiar las pilas.

• Abra el compartimiento de pilas, tirando de la tapa de compartimiento de pilas 5 hacia abajo y extraiga las pilas vacías.

• Inserte dos pilas nuevas del tipo AA/LR6 1,5 V. Utilice siempre pilas del mismo tipo y no mez-cle nunca pilas usadas y nuevas.

• Tenga en cuenta la correcta polaridad al intro-ducirlas. Las polaridades de ambos contactos están indicadas en el interior del compartimiento de las pilas. Preste atención al plano siguiente. • Vuelva a colocar la tapa de compartimiento

de pilas 5 de modo que encastre y quede fi rmemente cerrada.

-Evacuación

No tire el aparato en la basura doméstica normal. Este producto está sujeto a la directiva europea 2002/96/EC. Evacue el aparato en un centro de evacuación autorizado o a través de las instalaciones de evacuación comunitarias. Tenga en cuenta las normativas actualmente en vigor.

En caso de duda póngase en contacto con las instalaciones municipales de eliminación de residuos.

Eliminación de las pilas/baterías

Las pilas/baterías no pueden ser desechadas con la basura doméstica. Cada consumidor está obligado legalmente a entregar las pilas/baterías en un punto de recogida de residuos de su muni-cipio, barrio o en un establecimiento.

Con esta obligación se consigue que las pilas / baterías se desechen de forma respetuosa con el medio ambiente. Devuelva las pilas/acumuladores vacías.

Evacue todos los materiales de embalaje de forma respetuosa con el medio ambiente.

Garantía y asistencia técnica

Este aparato tiene 3 años de garantía desde la fecha de compra. El aparato ha sido fabricado cuidadosamente y ha sido probado antes de su entrega. Guarde el comprobante de caja como justifi cante de compra. Si necesitara hacer uso de la garantía, póngase en contacto por teléfono con su punto de servicio habitual. Éste es el único modo de garantizar un envío gratuito. La garantía cubre los defectos de fabricación o del material, pero no los daños de transporte, las piezas sujetas a desgaste ni los daños sufridos por las piezas frágiles (p. ej. el interruptor o las pilas). El producto ha sido diseñado únicamente para el uso privado y no para el uso comercial. En caso de manipulación indebida e incorrecta, uso de la fuerza y en caso de abrir el aparato personas extrañas a nuestros centros de asistencia técnica autorizados, la garantía pierde su validez.

Esta garantía no reduce en forma alguna sus derechos legales.

El tiempo de garantia no se prolonga debido a prestaciones de garantía. Esto es válido también para piezas sustituidas y reparadas. Los posibles defectos o daños detectados al desembalar el aparato se han de notifi car de inmediato o como muy tarde 2 días desde la fecha de compra. Todas las reparaciones fi nalizado el tiempo de garantía se han de pagar.

You have clearly decided in favour of a quality product. These operating instructions are a part of this product. They contain important information in regard to safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all of these operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and only for the specifi ed areas of application. In addition, pass these documents on, together with the product, to any future owner.

Intended use

This appliance is intended exclusively for personal dental care. This appliance is intended exclusively for use in domestic households. The appliance is not intended for use in commercial, industrial or medical environments. It is not suitable for animal care.

-Safety instructions

• To avoid damage, do not permit liquids of any kind to

enter the appliance and do not submerse it in water.

• Avoid also possible penetration by foreign objects.

• In the event of malfunction or apparent damage,

please contact our Customer Services.

• Toothbrushes may be used by children and by persons

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities

or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are

supervised or, in regard to the safe use of the appliance,

have been instructed in its use and have understood

the potential risks.

• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be

per-formed by children, unless they are being supervised.

• Children may not play with the appliance.

• Do not submerse the hand appliance in water or other

liquids. This would lead to irreparable damage to the

appliance!

• This appliance is not intended for children under 3 years

of age.

• This appliance may not come into contact with hot

sur-faces. The appliance could be irreparably damaged!

• Do not open the appliance (except the battery

compart-ment) yourself. There is a risk of injury with improper

reassembly!

Information regarding the handling of batteries

When interacting with batteries, please observe the

following:

• Do not throw batteries into a fi re. Do not recharge

batteries. There is a risk of explosions and injuries!

• Never open batteries, never solder or weld batteries.

There is a risk of explosions and injuries!

• Regularly check the condition of the batteries. Leaking

batteries can cause damage to the appliance.

• If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended

period, remove the battery.

• In the event of the batteries leaking acids, fi rst put on

a pair of protective gloves. Then clean the battery

compartment and the battery contacts with a dry cloth.

• Keep batteries well away from children. Children

might put batteries into their mouths and swallow

them. If a battery is swallowed, medical assistance

must be sought immediately.

Tips on usage

• From about the age of 6 years children can use this battery powered toothbrush by themselves. It is however necessary that you explain to the child how to use both the toothbrush and the sandglass.

• Explain to the child that the best cleaning eff ect is obtained by moving the brush from tooth to tooth gently and without heavy pressure.

First use

Before taking the appliance into use check to ensure that it is in a fault-free condition. If it is not, it may not be used.

• Open the battery compartment in that you slide the battery compartment lid 5 downwards.

• Insert the batteries in the battery compartment as per the polarity diagram (see chapter entitled “Changing the batteries”).

• Replace the battery compartment lid 5 back onto the hand element 2. Ensure that it is fi rmly secured.

Fitting / removing brush heads

To remove the brush head 1, turn it clockwise and then pull it upwards. To fi t the brush head 1 place it slightly off set on the hand element 2 and then turn it anti-clockwise.

The brush head 1 must engage on being put back on. To avoid damage to the appliance, use only original brush heads.

Operation

Warning

Due to the unaccustomed operation some gum bleeding may initially occur, this is normal. Should this continue for more than two weeks, consult your dentist.

• Place the brush head 1 on the hand element 2. • Moisten the brush under fl owing water.

• Apply some toothpaste to the moistened brush.

Notice

To avoid spraying toothpaste, fi rst place the toothbrush on the teeth before switching it on.

• Start the toothbrush with the on switch 3 and turn the sandglass 6 upside down. This indicates to you when the 2 minutes of cleaning recommended by dentists has been completed.

• Brush the outer surfaces of your teeth fi rst of all. Place the brush head 1 on your gums and move the brush upwards/downwards from the gums to over the crown of the tooth.

• Start again from the gums for each individual tooth.

• Clean the inner surfaces of your teeth with the same technique. • To clean the chewing surfaces, direct the rotating brush head with light

pressure over the chewing surfaces.

• Finally, thoroughly clean the back parts of the molar teeth.

• When the sand in the sandglass 6 has passed through and all teeth have been brushed, stop the toothbrush with the off switch 4 and fi rst then remove it from your mouth.

• After use, clean the brush heads 1 thoroughly under running water.

Travelling case

If you wish to take the toothbrush with you on your travels, you can pack it in the travelling case.

Cleaning and Care

• Clean the hand element 2 and the sandglass 6 only with a soft and lightly moistened cloth. Do not use detergents or solvents. They can damage the plastic surfaces.

• After use, clean the brush heads 1 thoroughly under running water. We recommend cleaning the brush heads 1 in a standard commercial cleaning fl uid for prosthetics every 2 - 4 weeks. After about 3 months, at the latest however when the bristles bend outwards, you should fi t a new brush head 1.

Warning regarding appliance damage!

Do not use sharp objects to remove dried-on toothpaste from the hand element 2, they could damage the seals and thus the appliance.

Changing the batteries

When the movement become noticably weaker, the batteries must be exchanged.

• Open the battery compartment by sliding the the battery compartment lid 5 downwards and remove the old batteries.

• Insert two new batteries of the type AA/LR6 1.5 V. Always use batteries of the same type and never use a new and an old battery together.

• Ensure that the battery has the correct polarity when inserting it. This is marked on both contacts inside the battery compartment. Please observe the adjacent drawing.

• Replace the battery compartment lid 5 so that it audibly engages and is fi rmly closed.

-Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2002/96/EC.

Dispose of the appliance through a registered specialist disposal fi rm or through your community waste disposal department. Observe the currently applicable regulations.

In case of doubt, contact your local waste disposal facility. Disposal of batteries/accumulators

Used batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of in household waste. Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries at a collection site of his community/city district or at a retail store.

The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that batteries are disposed of in a non-polluting manner. Only dispose of batteries/cells when they are fully discharged.

Dispose of the packaging materials in an environmentally responsible manner.

Warranty and Service

This appliance entitles you to a warranty of 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and has been conscientiously examined and tested before delivery.

Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our service department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured. The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, not for transport damage, worn parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries. The appliance is intended for domestic use only, NOT for commercial purposes. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorized service branch.

Your statutory rights are in no way restricted by the terms of this warranty. The warranty period is not extended by repairs carried out under warranty. This applies also to replaced or repaired parts. All damages or defects discovered on purchase must be reported immediately after the unpacking, at the latest two days after the date of purchase. Repairs required after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charges.

Hinweise zum Umgang mit Batterien

Für den Umgang mit Batterien beachten Sie bitte

folgendes:

• Werfen Sie keine Batterien ins Feuer. Laden Sie

Batte-rien nicht wieder auf. Es besteht Explosions- und

Verlet-zungsgefahr!

• Öff nen Sie die Batterien niemals, löten oder schweißen

Sie nie an Batterien. Es besteht Explosions- und

Verletzungsgefahr!

• Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Batterien. Auslaufende

Batterien können Beschädigungen am Gerät

verursachen.

• Wenn Sie ein Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen,

entnehmen Sie die Batterien.

• Bei ausgelaufenen Batterien, ziehen Sie

Schutzhand-schuhe an. Reinigen Sie das Batteriefach und die

Batteriekontakte mit einem trockenen Tuch.

• Batterien dürfen nicht in die Hände von Kindern

gelangen. Kinder könnten

Batterien in den Mund nehmen und verschlucken.

Sollte eine Batterie verschluckt worden sein, muss

sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch genommen

werden.

Hinweise zur Benutzung

• Ab einem Alter von ca. 6 Jahren kann Ihr Kind diese batteriebetriebene Zahnbürste selbstständig benutzen. Es ist jedoch unerlässlich, dass Sie Ihrem Kind die Benutzung der Zahnbürste und die Verwendung der Sanduhr erklären.

• Erklären Sie dem Kind, dass die beste Reinigungswirkung erzielt wird, wenn die Zahnbürste sanft und ohne festen Druck von Zahn zu Zahn bewegt wird.

Erste Verwendung

Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass es in einwandfreiem Zustand ist. Andernfalls darf es nicht verwendet werden.

Bürstenkopf aufsetzen / abnehmen

Zum Abnehmen des Bürstenkopfes 1, drehen Sie ihn im Uhrzeigersinn und ziehen Sie ihn dann nach oben ab.

Zum Aufsetzen des Bürstenkopfes 1 setzen Sie ihn leicht versetzt auf das Handteil 2 auf und drehen Sie ihn gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.

Der Bürstenkopf 1 muss beim Aufsetzen einrasten. Verwenden Sie nur Original-Bürstenköpfe, um Schäden am Gerät zu vermeiden.

Bedienen

Warnung

Anfänglich kann es durch die ungewohnte Reizung zu etwas Zahnfl eisch-bluten kommen, das ist normal. Hält dies länger als zwei Wochen an, sollten Sie Ihren Zahnarzt befragen.

• Stecken Sie den Bürstenkopf 1 auf das Handteil 2 auf. • Feuchten Sie die Bürste unter fl ießendem Wasser an. • Tragen Sie etwas Zahnpasta auf die feuchte Bürste auf.

Hinweis

Um Spritzer von Zahnpasta zu vermeiden, führen Sie die Zahnbürste erst an die Zähne, bevor Sie sie einschalten.

• Stellen Sie die Zahnbürste am Einschalter 3 ein und drehen Sie die Sanduhr 6 um. Diese zeigt Ihnen, wann Sie der zahnärztlichen Empfeh-lung von 2 Minuten Putzen gerecht geworden sind.

• Bürsten Sie zuerst die Außenseite der Zähne. Setzen Sie den Bürsten-kopf 1 auf das Zahnfl eisch auf und führen Sie die Bürste vom Zahn-fl eisch ausgehend über den Zahn.

• Setzen Sie für jeden Zahn neu auf dem Zahnfl eisch an. • Reinigen Sie die Innenseite der Zähne mit der gleichen Technik. • Um die Kaufl ächen zu reinigen, führen Sie die rotierende Bürste mit

leichtem Druck über die Kaufl ächen.

• Reinigen Sie anschließend gründlich die Rückseite der hinteren Backen-zähne.

• Wenn der Sand in der Sanduhr 6 durchgelaufen ist und alle Zähne geputzt wurden, schalten Sie die Zahnbürste am Ausschalter 4 aus und nehmen Sie sie dann erst aus dem Mund.

• Säubern Sie den Bürstenkopf 1 nach Gebrauch gründlich unter fl ießendem Wasser.

Reiseetui

Wenn Sie die Zahnbürste auf eine Reise mitnehmen wollen, können Sie sie im Reiseetui verstauen.

Reinigung und Pfl ege

• Reinigen Sie das Handteil 2 und die Sanduhr 6 nur mit einem weichen, leicht angefeuchteten Tuch. Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungs- oder Lösemittel. Diese können die Kunststoff -Oberfl ächen beschädigen. • Säubern Sie die Bürstenköpfe 1 nach Gebrauch gründlich unter

fl ießendem Wasser. Wir empfehlen eine Reinigung der Bürstenköpfe 1 in handelsüblicher Reinigungsfl üssigkeit für Zahnprothesen etwa alle 2 - 4 Wochen. Nach ca. 3 Monaten, spätestens jedoch wenn sich die Borsten nach außen biegen, sollten Sie einen neuen Bürstenkopf 1 verwenden.

Warnung vor Geräteschäden!

Um eingetrocknete Zahnpastareste am Handteil 2 zu entfernen, verwenden Sie keine spitzen Gegenstände, da ansonsten die Dichtung und somit das Gerät beschädigt werden.

Wechseln der Batterien

Wenn die Bewegungen der Zahnbürste spürbar schwächer werden, müssen die Batterien gewechselt werden.

• Öff nen Sie das Batteriefach, indem Sie den Batteriefachdeckel 5 nach unten abziehen und entnehmen Sie die leeren Batterien. • Legen Sie zwei neue Batterien des

Typs AA/LR6 1,5 V ein. Verwenden Sie immer Batterien des gleichen Typs und niemals eine frische und eine alte Batterie zusammen.

• Achten Sie beim Einlegen auf die korrekte Polarität. Diese ist auf den beiden Kontakten im Inneren des Batteriefaches angegeben. Beachten Sie die nebenstehende Zeichnung. • Stecken Sie den Batteriefachdeckel 5

wieder auf, so dass er fühlbar einrastet und fest verschlossen ist.

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EC.

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften.

Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung. Batterien/Akkus entsorgen

Batterien/Akkus dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpfl ichtet, Batterien/Akkus bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Gemeinde / seines Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben.

Diese Verpfl ichtung dient dazu, dass Batterien/Akkus einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt werden können. Geben Sie Batterien/Akkus nur im entladenen Zustand zurück.

Führen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu.

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Das Gerät wurde sorgfältig produziert und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft. Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon als Nachweis für den Kauf auf. Bitte set-zen Sie sich im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung. Nur so kann eine kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden. Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler, nicht aber für Transportschäden, Verschleißteile oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter oder Akkus.
