May the Child of Bethlehem help

us, then, to be generous,

supportive and helpful, especially towards

those who are vulnerable, the sick, those

unemployed or experiencing hardship.

I extend my affection to the brothers and

sisters of the Oriental Churches, Catholic and

Orthodox, who celebrate the Nativity of the

Lord today. To them, I wish them a Holy

Christmas in the light of Christ our peace and

our hope!

Altar Flowers

Altar flowers are a wonderful way to

honor special loved ones or a special

event. If you would like to make a

donation for the Altar Flowers, there is

an Altar Flower Calendar available in the Church

office.

If you are having a scheduled surgery

and would like to have the anointing,

please call the office and make an

and let perpetual light shine upon them.

still here with us. Requests may be

Flu Shot

1. Do not come to Mass when you have flu-like symptoms.

2. Do not bring sick children to Mass, or to school.

3. Flu symptoms include: cough, fever, sore throat, stuffy

nose, chills, headache and body aches, fatigue, (and sometimes nausea, vomiting and diarrhea).

4. Do not shake hands (e.g., greetings and sign of peace) if

you have a scratchy throat, the “sniffles”, coughing or sneezing.

1. No deben asistir a la misa si tienen síntomas similares a la gripe. 2. No traigan niños enfermos a la misa o escuela.

3. Los síntomas de la gripe incluyen: Tos, fiebre, dolor de garganta, congestión nasal, escalofríos, dolor de cabeza, fatiga (a veces náuseas, vómitos y diarreas).

If you are sick, it is best to stay home rather than come to Mass. Illness always excuses one from their Sunday Obligation, especially in this flu season. Si usted está enfermo, lo mejor es quedarse en casa en lugar de venir a la Misa. Enfermedad siempre
