(30) . Leucemia Mieloide Crónica (LMC), la más frecuente de las enfermedades mieloproliferativas, es una de las leucemias más estudiadas. Debido a la diversidad de formas de presentación y de tratamientos disponibles recibidos por los pacientes y a cómo estos influyen en la evolución de la enfermedad, decidimos realizar este estudio descriptivo analítico a fin de conocer la sobrevida total de los pacientes según hallazgos al diagnóstico y luego del tipo de tratamiento instaurado. Se encontraron 61 pacientes cuyos datos estaban disponibles en las historias clínicas encontradas. Se encontró una clara predisposición de la enfermedad hacia el sexo masculino. Los pacientes con fase acelerada o crisis blástica al diagnóstico tuvieron una menor sobrevida total con respecto a los pacientes con fase crónica al diagnóstico. Una mayor sobrevida también se observó en los pacientes con Score Sokal bajo e intermedio al diagnóstico y en los pacientes que utilizaron como tratamiento al interferón alfa.
