I) BREVE DESCRIPCIÓN DEL MERCADO CHINO DE CRIN Y SUS DESPERDICIOS
La única información que fue posible obtener sobre el mercado chino de crin y sus desperdicios proviene de “CHINA ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS MARKETING ASSOCIATION”, la cual señala lo siguiente:
1. En China no se encuentran grandes fincas de caballo, por lo que son las empresas locales de productos ganaderos y/o los compradores pequeños quienes obtienen en el campo los productos de caballo. Debido a la poca cantidad disponible, ellos tampoco los procesan sino que los venden a las fábricas procesadoras.
2. Anping y Nangong, dos distritos de la provincia HEBEI, son los principales centros de distribución de todo tipo de pelos, crin de caballo y sus desperdicios en China. En el condado Anping se concentran el 40% de las fábricas procesadoras de pelos y crin de caballo de China y el 40% de la exportación nacional. Pero en los últimos años la industria está reduciéndose.
3. En China el procesamiento de crin de cola de caballo se realiza generalmente en talleres pequeños y ese producto representa un porcentaje insignificante en los productos de ganadería, por lo tanto es sumamente difícil hacer las estadísticas del mercado ni se puede suministrar datos estadísticos detallados al respecto.
Algunas informaciones obtenidas por Internet indican que las crines de cerdo, caballo y otros pelos finos son productos tradicionales de exportación de China, que representan el 95% de ventas en el mercado internacional. Por contactos telefónicos, varias empresas informan lo mismo que China en realidad exporta muchos productos del mismo rango. Ciertamente también existen cantidades de importación, pero vienen principalmente de Mongolia, país vecino de China.
