Weekly plan 1. Introduce immediate members of family followed by extended family members, articles el/la/los and mi. All six parts (specific focus on 3rd

person singular and plural) of verbs tener, llamarse so that pupils can describe their family. Extension activity- look at connectives, including que.

2. Introduce pets. Revisit tengo and no tengo. Revisit plural and singular nouns. Introduce other animals-mariposa, mariquita, rana.. and so on 3. Introduce colours and adjectival agreements. Revisit the verb

ser-particularly reinforcing es and son. (Nb this is Christmas week)

4. Introduce physical descriptions of hair, eyes and distinguishing features. Focus on 3rd person-describing someone else (not just 1st person).

5. Introduce language to describe personalities. Revisit all 6 parts of ser. Reinforce adjectival agreements. Revisit conditional tense (“me gustaría ser/tener…”)

6. Prepare writing on self and family so that detailed feedback can be given to support pupils in RP2. Preparation for Speaking Assessment for RP2. 7. Redraft MFI task. Begin RP2.
