THE 10TH ANNUAL ST. BRIGID’S GALA

“The LAOH (Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians) is sponsoring the 10th

an-nual St. Brigid’s Gala on Saturday, January 31st, from 6:30-11:00 pm in the Our Lady of Angels Parish Hall. This event is a fundraiser for local charities and tickets purchased in ad-vance are $20 and include beer, wine, soda, and snacks. (Food will be avail-able at additional cost).

ST. THOMAS AQUINAS REGIONAL SCHOOL

St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, will begin accept-ing applications for the 2015-2016 school year on January 5. They will also be hosting an Open House on Tuesday, January 27 at 10:00 a.m.. Aquinas is a PK4 through Eighth Grade regional Catholic school. The school is administered and staffed by the Domini-can Sisters of St. Cecilia. Daily faith formation and the instilling of virtues through our Virtues in Practice Program are the focus of our mission. Aquinas was named a Top 100 Virginia School by Johns Hopkins University and we have a unique Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) partnership with the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. Sun-day, all the high school teens of the parish are invited to join us for a night of free food, fun, and friends. This Sunday, come join us for our Spring Kickoff! Thursday, Jan 8 (6-7pm) High School COR: All 10th-12th

grade high school students are invited to our new high school leadership team. Come help shape this ministry community in a way that best serves you and your friends. COR means HEART in Latin, and this group will be the heart of our ministry. We’ll even feed you! We’ll see you there.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST

The Knights of Columbus will have their pancake breakfast for parish-ioners on Sunday, January 11 after the 8:00 am and 9:30 am Masses. Proceeds from the break-fast sales will be donated to support the March for Life.

SINGERS - SHARE YOUR TALENT

Bautismos: Se requiere asistir a la charla pre-bautismal

para poder bautizar a su niño/a. Las charlas se dan cada se-gundo lunes del mes a las 7:30 PM en el salón de conferencias, sótano de la Iglesia. Favor llegar temprano no se admitirá si

llega tarde y no se admiten niños. Durante las siguientes semanas, martes de 2:00pm a 7:00pm. Miércoles o jueves de 8:30 am a 11:30 am, o de 1:00 pm a 7:00 pm, y viernes únicamente por la mañana, de 8:30 a 11:30am, pase a la oficina de la Rectoría para llenar las formas de bautismo.

Los bautizos son el primer y el tercer sábado de cada mes, si

hay cupo disponible.

Matrimonios: Es necesario hablar con el Padre (703)

Quinceañeras: 1) La quinceañera debe asistir a una clase
