ANOINTING OF THE SICK
The Anointing of the Sick is not a sacrament for those only who are at the point of death. Hence, as soon as anyone of the faithful begins to be in danger of death from sickness or old age, the fitting time for him to receive this sacrament has certainly already arrived. (CCC 1514)
If a person is in need of Anointing of the Sick, please call the parish office for a priest at 602-242-1300.
If the parish office is closed and there is an immediate danger of death, please call the after-hours emergency number at 602-246-3534. The after-hours number may only be used for life and death emergencies.

Gather outside the parish office at 7 a.m. In an effort to get the Cathedral and parish grounds looking their best for the winter, the parish staff and the Facilities Committee are hosting a Beautification Day.
Please mark your calendars!
We will work on landscape clean up, painting touch-ups, and minor repair jobs. If you have any lawn equipment such as rakes, flat and spade shovels, gas-powered blowers and edgers, etc., please bring them.
We’ll provide refreshments.

Vincentians are so grateful to you for helping us help others. You have ears to hear the cries of the poor. You have allowed the Society of St Vincent de Paul to serve 23,224 people this past year

HAND CARVED RELIGIOUS
ARTICLES FROM THE HOLY LAND
After all the Masses on the weekend of November 18 & 19 there will be religious
articles for sale in the courtyard.
Great for Christmas gifts!
These items are created by about 180 Christian families from Bethlehem. These families have been dependent upon sales of their hand carved religious articles to tourists of the Holy Land. Due to the conflict in the Middle East, the tourism has been cut off. In order to survive, they have turned to Christian communities in the United States to purchase their articles.
These hand carved religious articles are carved from wood of the olive tree. This workmanship has been traditional for these families for
hundreds of years. It is hoped that these families have a little income and are able to stay living in the Holy Land.

Reunirse a las 7AM afuera de la oficina parroquial. Un esfuerzo para que la catedral y los terrenos de la parroquia luzcan lo mejor posible para el invierno, el personal de la parroquia y el comité de instalaciones están organizando un día de Embellecimiento. por favor marquen sus calendarios!
Trabajaremos en la limpieza del paisaje, retoques de pintura y trabajos menores de reparación. Si tiene algún equipo de césped como rastrillos, palas, sopladores, bordadores, etc., tráigalos.
Proveeremos refrigerios y bocadillos.
¡Vamos a reunirnos y hacer de la catedral un lugar hermoso para la gente de nuestra parroquia y nuestro vecindario!

TIERRA SANTA
Después de todas las Misas el fin de semana del 18 y 19 de noviembre habrá artículos
religiosos a la venta en el patio.
¡Perfecto para los regalos de la Navidad! Estos artículos son creados por cerca de 180 familias cristianas de Belén. Estas familias han dependido de las ventas de sus artículos religiosos tallados a los turistas de la Tierra Santa. Debido al conflicto en el Medio Oriente, el turismo ha sido cortado. Con el fin de sobrevivir, se han
convertido en comunidades cristianas en los Estados Unidos para comprar sus artículos. Estos artículos religiosos tallados a mano se tallan de la madera del olivo. Esta mano de obra ha sido tradicional para estas familias durante cientos de años. Se espera que estas familias tengan un pequeño ingreso y puedan permanecer viviendo en Tierra Santa.
