Dear Parents and Parish,
We are always looking forward to progressing our students in the most proficient and Catholic way possible. Our goal is to make all who leave Saint Ann’s School viable members of society. Our school is proud to be moving our curriculum to the classical style of teaching that Catholic schools have mastered from the beginning of the educa-tion movement. Classical educaeduca-tion is fully understanding that God is our center and all subjects blend with religion at its core. We will be further expanding on the liberal arts of grammar, rhetoric, logic, mathematics, and science while utilizing the Great Books which are the essential foundations of literature. We are cultivating students to understand the truth, goodness, and beauty of our world that God has created.
Through this move, we will be implementing a change to our Language Arts cur-riculum and enhancing student language with Latin. Student development of Latin will help expand their vocabulary with understanding of the basics of word meanings. Latin is a helpful tool in learning other foreign languages including developing a bridge be-tween Spanish and English. Currently, we are looking to raise $10,000 to fully imple-ment this program in grades 2nd through 8th. This amount will cover the cost of student books, teacher manuals, and resources to enhance learning. We have currently been offered a matching grant of $5,000 to raise our funds. We are reaching out to our com-munity and asking for donations to the school to help in this effort. Through our current chocolate fundraiser and Spirit Nights, we are looking to raise a small portion, and with our $5,000 matching donation, that leaves just 50% or $5,000 to raise in the next five
weeks. Our deadline to raise funds will be March 15th. All donations to the school are
tax-deductible. Thank you for your consideration in helping us achieve our success. God Bless,

Estimados Padres y Parroquia,
Bendiciones,

Stewardship
As the Gospel cure of the leper teaches, no one is abandoned by Jesus. Are there those in our personal lives whom we have abandoned, treated like lepers? Or do we risk reaching out and
touching those who may seem to us to be not worthy of our time or attention?
