PARISH INFORMATION / INFORMACION PARROQUIAL
New parishioners: We welcome all new members to ourparish community. Please register in the parish office. Also, if there is a change in address, please notify us.
Sacrament of Reconciliation: Saturdays 11am -12pm (or
by appointment).
Catechesis/Religious Education: Classes are held
Satur-day mornings during the school year. Registrations for children are accepted until the beginning of September. Call the Director of Religious Education at the rectory (ext. 31) for more information.
Baptisms: The family must be registered in the parish. To
register to have your child baptized, bring the birth certificate and $50 donation to the parish office. Baptisms are celebrated in English on the First Sunday of the month at 1:30pm. There are no baptisms during the sea-son of Lent.
Marriages: Arrangements must be made at least six
months before the wedding date. No marriages are celebrated on Sundays. Call a priest in the rectory for arrangements.
Cotillions/Quinceañeras: The family must be registered
in the parish for at least three months. The young lady must have received the sacraments of Baptism, Communion and Confirmation. Parents and young lady need to attend a retreat.
Adult Sacramental Formation: For information on classes
for adults who want to become Catholic or to complete your sacraments, please call the parish office.
Presentations: Celebrated the Second Sunday of the
month during the Masses. Only for 3-year-olds who are baptized and for 40 day newborn blessing. Call the par-ish office to register.
Wedding Anniversary Blessings: The Third Sunday of the
month during Mass.
Seriously Ill and Homebound: You may request anointing
of the sick & pastoral visits by contacting the parish of-fice.
St. Vincent de Paul Society: We have a food pantry on
various Thursdays. Call the rectory office for dates.
Charismatic Prayer Group: Meets on Wednesdays in the
Church at 7pm. All are welcome.
Nuevos Parroquianos: ¡Bienvenidos a todos los nuevos
miembros de nuestra comunidad! Favor de registrarse en la oficina parroquial. También, si usted cambia su domicilio, notifíquenos por favor.

Los bautismos son celebrados en Español a las 12:00pm el segundo Sábado y el cuarto Sábado de ca-da mes y a la 1:30pm el tercer domingo de caca-da mes. No hay ningunos bautismos durante la Cuaresma.
Matrimonios: Los arreglos se deben tomar por lo menos
seis meses antes de la fecha de la boda. No se celebra ninguna boda los domingos. Llame a nuestro párroco para tener entrevista.
Quinceañeras: La familia debe de estar registrada desde
tres meses antes. La joven tiene que tener su Bautismo, Comunión y Confirmación. Los padres y la joven tienen que asistir a un retiro.
Formación para Adultos que Necesitan Sus Sacramentos:
Para la información sobre las clases para los adultos que desean hacerse católico o completar sus sacramentos, lla-me a la oficina parroquial.
Presentaciones: Son celebradas durante las misas el
segundo Domingo de cada mes. Solamente para los que cumplen 3 años y son bautizados o bendiciones de 40 días para recién nacidos. Llame a la oficina parroquial para registrarse.
Bendiciones de los Aniversarios de Matrimonio: El
Ter-cer Domingo de cada mes durante la Misa.
Los Enfermos y Los Ancianos: Llame a la oficina
parro-quial para unción y visitas pastorales.
Sociedad de San Vicente de Paúl: Llame a la oficina
pa-rroquial para las fechas de nuestra despensa de comida.
Círculo de Oración: Se reúne los miércoles en la iglesia a
las 7pm. Todos son invitados.

All are invited to attend a special Thanksgiving Liturgy on
THIS Thursday, November 23
rdat 10am.
Please bring one non-perishable food item per person to share
with those in need. As we offer our gifts of bread and wine during
Mass, all will be invited to participate in the Sharing Procession.
Each person will be asked to join in the procession by bringing
forward to the altar our gift of food to share as we give thanks to
God for our abundant blessings.
Our collection this day will be for the Southwest Chicago PADS Homeless Shelter.
There will be NO Bilingual Mass at 8:00am in Chapel that day.
Colectas de Comida y Dinero en la Misa de Acción de Gracias
Todos están invitados a asistir a una liturgia especial de Acción de
Gracias ESTE jueves, 23 de noviembre a las 10 am.
Favor de traer un alimento no perecedero por persona para compartir
con los necesitados. Al ofrecer nuestros dones del pan y el vino durante
la misa, todos serán invitados a participar en la Procesión de Compartir.
Se le pide a cada persona unirse a la procesión llevando al altar nuestra
ofrenda de comida para compartir mientras damos gracias a Dios por
nuestras bendiciones abundantes.
Nuestra colecta de ese día será para personas sin hogar del
Refugio del Suroeste de Chicago (PADS).
NO habrá Misa Bilingüe a las 8:00am en la Capilla ese día.
ESTRELLAS DE NAVIDAD
“Los amigos son como las estrellas. No siempre podemos verlos, pero sabemos que están con nosotros.”
Todos los que tienen miembros de su familia o amigos que han sido deportados o son detenidos debido a cuestiones de inmigración son invitados a presentar el nombre de la persona que será escrito en las estrellas de nuestro Nacimiento en la iglesia. Las estrellas serán atadas a la tela de fondo del cielo azul encima del Nacimiento. Favor de regresar esta forma a la rectoría ANTES DEL 19 DE DICIEMBRE.

Our Parish Giving Tree Has Appeared!
Recipients this year will be students from Fairfield Academy and an organization
called Almost Home that helps the homeless.
This year, we ask that when you take your ornament, that you write your phone
number on the list on the table near the tree, next to the number of the ornament
you take, so that we can contact those people who do not return the gifts on time.
Please wrap your gift and attach the ornament to the gift when you return it. You
may place gifts under the tree or bring them to the rectory. We thank you for your generosity!
All gifts are due no later than Sunday, December 10th

Los destinatarios este año son alumnos de la Escuela Fairfield Academy y una organización que se llama
“Almost Home” que brinde ayuda a las personas sin hogar.
Este año, pedimos que cuando tome su ornamento, escriba su número de teléfono en la lista que se encuentra
en la mesa adjunta al árbol, al lado del número del ornamento que tomo, de modo que nos podamos poner en
contacto con aquellas personas que no devuelven los regalos a tiempo.
Favor de envolver su regalo y poner el ornamento en el regalo cuando usted lo entregue.
Puede poner los regalos debajo del árbol o traerlos a la rectoría. ¡Les agradecemos su

Cualquier jovencita que quiere tener su quinceañera entre Abril del 2018 y Febrero del 2019 debe registrar ahora.
Para poder tener una celebración de quinceañera, los siguientes requisitos serán pedidos:
Tener los sacramentos de Bautismo, Comunióny Confirmación.
Cumplir con 15 horas de servicio social.
Asistir a un retiro de 15ñera.
Necesita ser miembro de la Parroquia de Sta.Rita
