Dear brothers and sisters,
The Responsorial Psalm of this Sunday says that “It is good to give thanks to the Lord!”. It is good to be grateful, it is good to see that things are not as bad as we imagine, it is good to see that God is present in our lives. I say this because we are coming out of a year in which every news outlet we read or watched was about COVID and how this was horrible and somehow, we have fallen into a sense of constant worry and panic. We have all been witnesses of people getting angry and fearful and not trusting anyone, seeing the other as a source of danger and death. It is not easy to go back to trust and to not see the other one as a danger. For this reason, this psalm is a help to bring us back to gratefulness.
As we start this summer, it is fantastic to be reminded that “It is good to give thanks to the Lord”. To be able to see the wonderful things we have and appreciate every moment we possess.
Thank you so much for those who participated and helped us during the Food Truck Festival. You can find a detailed report in the bulletin today. We are starting the repairs for the second-floor rectory A/C that has been damaged for over 2 months. If you wish to contribute towards this project please do so, it is a great help to the parish. As you start this summer, please don’t forget your parish in your finances and I encourage you to use online giving. Remember, that this Sunday we have our bowling night with the Youth Group.
Saint Francis de Sales Pray for Us!

Queridos hermanos y hermanas:

Fr. Francisco
