BAPTISMS * BAUTIZOS
Baptisms take place the 4th Saturday of the month. Parents and both godparents will need to attend the pre-baptismal class prior to the Baptism. Pre-Baptismal classes take place the 2nd Saturday of the month at 04:00 p.m. Pick up a registration form from the office. Bring in Baptism registration form completely filled out, along with a copy of the Birth Certificate to the office, at least a month ahead of the date of desired Baptism.

2nd Sunday of Lent
Jesus is the fulfillment of the covenant God made with the Hebrews. He fulfils all their expectations. In the pres-ence of Moses, “the law-giver”, and Elijah, “the prophet”, we are told, He is the Beloved and we should “listen to Him.”
Jesus reveals his divine glory and then returns to his hu-man form and the fact that He will die, revealing His Pas-sion. His sacrifice is gain for the entire human race! The Father revealed his love for his Son. Through his love for us, we are called to be one with the Trinity. The love we share and the love that flows from us in our rela-tionship with the Trinity can transfigure our parish, our community, our world.
For a moment Jesus discloses his divine glory, confirm-ing Peter’s confession. He also reveals that he will have to go by the way of the cross at Jerusalem in order to “enter into his glory”.
Moses and Elijah had seen God’s glory on the Mountain; The Law and the Prophets had announced the Messiah’s sufferings. Christ’s Passion is the will of the Father: the Son acts as God’s servant; the cloud indicates the pres-ence of the Holy Spirit.
The whole Trinity appeared: the Father in the voice; the Son in the man; the Spirit in the shining cloud. CCC555
Prayer
O most Holy Trinity! As many times as I breathe, as many times as my heart beats, as many times as my blood pulses through my body, so many thousand times do I want to glorify Your mercy. I want to be completely transformed into your mercy and to be Your living reflec-tion, O Lord. May the greatest of all divine attributes, that of Your unfathomable mercy, pass through my heart and soul to my neighbor.

On November 14, 1996, the National Confer-ence of Catholic Bishops approved the follow-ing guidelines on the reception of Commun-ion. The guidelines, which should be includ-ed in the missals and other participation re-sources published in the United States, at-tempt to remind all those who may attend Catholic liturgies of the disciples present in the Church in regard to the sharing of The Eucharistic Communion.
FOR CATHOLICS
As Catholics, we fully participate in the Eucharist when we receive Communion. We are encouraged to receive communion devoutly and frequently. In order to be well prepared to receive Communion, participants should not be aware of serious sin and usually must have fasted for an hour before. A person who is conscious of grave sin should not receive the Body and Blood of the Lord with-out prior sacramental confession.
FOR OUR FELLOW CHRISTIANS
We welcome our fellow Christians to this Eucharistic cel-ebration as our brothers and sisters. We pray that our common Baptism and the action of the Holy Spirit in this Eucharist will bring us closer to each other to begin to dispel the sad divisions that separate us. We pray that these will be diminished and finally disappear, in conso-nance with the prayer of Christ for us "that all may be one" (John 17:21)
Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eu-charist is a sign of the reality of unity of faith , life, and worship, the members of those churches, with whom we are not yet fully united are generally not admitted to Holy Communion. Sharing the Eucharist in exceptional cir-cumstances, by other Christians requires the permission in accordance with the directives of the diocesan bishop and the provisions of the canonical law (Canon 844 § 4).
FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT RECEIVE HOLY COMMUNION
All those who are not receiving Holy Communion are encouraged to express in their hearts a desire for prayer for unity with the Lord Jesus and with one another. Therefore, adults who do not live in accordance with the rules of the Catholic Church (cohabitating or only mar-ried by civil law), please do not come for a blessing from the priest (because during Communion such a blessing is given only to children) but are asked to pray in silence where they are seated,

We also welcome to this celebration those who do not share our faith in Jesus Christ. While we cannot accept Holy Communion, we ask you to offer your prayers for the peace and unity of the human family

Oramos que nuestro Bautizo común y la ac-ción del Espíritu Santo en esta Eucaristía nos acerque más uno al otro para comenzar a disipar las divisiones tristes que nos separan. Oramos para que estos se disminuyan y finalmente desaparezca, en consonancia con la oración de Cristo para nosotros "que todos puedan ser uno".
Porque los católicos creemos que la celebración de la Eu-caristía es un signo de la realidad de la unidad de la fe, la vida, y de culto, los miembros de esas Iglesias, con quien todavía no estamos totalmente unidos son generalmente no admitidos a la Sagrada Comunión. Compartir la Euca-ristía en circunstancias excepcionales, por otros cristianos requiere el permiso de acuerdo con las directivas del obis-po diocesano y las disobis-posiciones del derecho canónico. PARA AQUELLOS QUE NO RECIBEN LA SANTA COMUNION
