(5) Ϯ. ^d͘'Z'KZzd,K>/,hZ,. A message from Our Pastor. What does the story of the Transfiguration tell us as a Church? As well as the preaching of Jesus was, at the same time, fidelity to the Alliance sealed with the Patriarchs and ratified in the middle of the infidelity of the people of Israel, and establishment of a new order, the evangelization of the Church action must remain faithful to the master's teachings, transmitted by the Apostolic community and taught by the Church, and continuously ask themselves how to live the faith in the midst of the changing conditions of the history. The Church, always faithful, must have the capacity to reinvent catechetical their language and their models to communicate with diverse cultures. In the account of the Transfiguration, draws us attention to the proposal made by Peter: “'Rabbi,' he said, 'it is wonderful for us to be here; so let us make three shelters, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.' 6 He did not know what to say; they were so frightened”. Peter, spontaneously expressing his feelings, manifested something that is common to all human beings: the desire to settle down when we feel safe and at ease. This same sentiment can empower communities. What does it mean for the evangelizing action of the Church?. It means working with the traditional faithful, who obediently welcome the orientations of the shepherds with no uncomfortable questions; It means repeating the same catechesis models without taking into account the diversity of the communities. One of the most insistent messages of father Francisco is his call to the Church out of its walls, within which you feel safe, and initiate discussions with other groups that surely will make questions that some might consider disrespectful. The Church can not claim to build three huts to stay in the top of the mountain. You must descend to cross the tortuous paths of scientific debate, ideological pluralism and new forms of family. The story of the Transfiguration of the Lord, reads from our historical coordinates, invites us to ask us about the manifestations of God in our personal stories and social processes in which we are immersed; makes us reflect on how faithfully we live our faith in a changing world; and it motivates us to go out to the periphery to announce the good news of the risen Lord. (13) ϲ. ^d͘'Z'KZzd,K>/,hZ,. . Un mensaje de nuestro Párroco. . ¿Qué nos dice hoy el relato de la Transfiguración como Iglesia? Así como la predicación de Jesús fue, simultáneamente, fidelidad a la alianza sellada con los patriarcas y ratificada en medio de las infidelidades del pueblo de Israel, e instauración de un orden nuevo, la acción evangelizadora de la Iglesia debe permanecer fiel a las enseñanzas del Maestro, transmitidas por la Comunidad Apostólica y enseñadas por la Iglesia, y preguntarse continuamente cómo vivir la fe en medio de las condiciones cambiantes de la historia. La Iglesia, siempre fiel, debe tener la capacidad de reinventar su lenguaje y sus modelos catequéticos para poder comunicarse con las diversas culturas. En el relato de la Transfiguración, nos llama la atención la propuesta que hace Pedro: “Maestro, ¡qué a gusto estamos aquí ! Hagamos tres chozas, una para ti, otra para Moisés y otra para Elías. En realidad no sabía lo que decía, porque estaban asustados”. Pedro, que expresaba de manera espontánea sus sentimientos, manifestó algo que es común a todos los seres humanos: el deseo de instalarnos cuando nos sentimos seguros y a gusto. Este mismo sentimiento se puede apoderar de las comunidades. ¿Qué significa para la acción evangelizadora de la Iglesia instalarse? Significa trabajar con los fieles tradicionales, que acogen dócilmente las orientaciones de los pastores sin hacer preguntas incómodas; significa repetir los mismos modelos de catequesis sin tener en cuenta la diversidad de las comunidades. Uno de los mensajes más insistentes del Papa Francisco es su llamado para que la Iglesia salga de sus muros, dentro de los cuales se siente segura, e inicie conversaciones con otros grupos que seguramente harán cuestionamientos que algunos podrían considerar irrespetuosos. La Iglesia no puede pretender construir tres chozas para permanecer en la cima del monte. Debe descender para recorrer los caminos tortuosos del debate científico, del pluralismo ideológico y de las nuevas formas de familia. El relato de la Transfiguración del Señor, leído desde nuestras coordenadas históricas, nos invita a preguntarnos por las manifestaciones de Dios en nuestras historias personales y en los procesos sociales en los cuales estamos inmersos; nos hace reflexionar sobre cómo vivir fielmente nuestra fe en un mundo cambiante; y nos motiva salir a la periferia para anunciar la Buena Noticia del Señor Resucitado..
