2016 BISHOP’S LENTEN APPEAL
Bishop’s Lenten Appeal update as of April 28, 2016 indi-cates that Our Lady of Angels has achieved 95% of their mandated goal of $185,000. We have 17% of house-holds pledged.

OLA CONFERENCE, ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
On June 4, from 8:00-1:00 p.m. the Conference will host a yard sale. The conference is accept-ing gently used, clean clothaccept-ing for babies, boys, girls, men, and women. Please no undergar-ments. We are also accepting toys (all types), small kitchen and furniture items, small elec-tronics (computers, flat screen TVs/monitors, radios, printers, etc.), tools, sports equipment, and blan-kets. Donations can be made on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the Month from 3:00-5:00p.m. or by email us at olasvdp@olasvdp.org.
Two VIRTUS classes will be held at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church on May 21, 2016. The Class will begin PROMPTLY at 9:30 a.m. and will end at 1:30 p.m. The Spanish class will be held in the St. Sophia Room and the English class will be held in the Parish Hall.

NDANNUAL MEMORIAL MASS
Join in prayer with the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, to honor the men and women who are serving or have served in the Armed Forces at the 22nd Annual Memorial Mass
on Sunday, May 15, at 12 p.m. in the Great Upper Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. The principal celebrant and homilist will be Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio. Parking is limited. Carpooling is advised. Military personnel are encouraged to wear service dress uniform; civilians are asked to wear business attire.
The First Collection for the Weekend of April 30 & May 1 amounted to $23,018.00

There is a May Crowning during classes on Sunday, May 15, and Tuesday, May 17!
Confirmation 2016 Test: All religious education classes
receiv-ing Confirmation in Fall 2016, includreceiv-ing Aquinas and homeschooled students, will have the Confirmation Exam during class Sunday, May 15, at 6:30pm and Tuesday, May 17, at 5:00pm. Aquinas and Homeschooled students report to the St. Sophia Room and may take the exam on either day.
Last Classes: The last days of Religious Education classes for
this year are May 15 for Sunday and May 17 for Tuesday.
All Volunteers for the Religious Education Program are invited
to the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner and Dancing on Sunday, May 22, at 6:30pm. Please RSVP with the Religious Education Office. Your families are welcome!
Our office hours: Monday and Tuesday from 12:00pm to
