Bienvenida

En nombre del Comité Organizador les invito a participar en el XVIII Curso Inter-nacional de cirugía Plástica y Estética de la Clínica Planas, que tendrá lugar en Barcelona del 26 al 28 de Septiembre de 2012.

El Curso se celebrará durante 3 jornadas y abarcará temas de Cirugía Reparadora y Esté-tica. Constará de una parte teórica y otra práctica, en la que se retransmitirán interven-ciones simultáneas en directo.

Para esta edición, hemos escogido los siguientes temas:

Se presentarán los resultados de los casos operados en cursos anteriores. Les esperamos con la mayor ilusión en Barcelona.

On behalf of the Organizer Committee I kindly invite you to participate in the XVIII In-ternational Course on Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery of Clinica Planas that will take place in Barcelona, from the 26th. through the 28th September 2012.

The Course will last 3 days and will include diff erent subjects on Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. There will be a theoretical part and a practical one, in which simulta-neous live surgery will be broadcasted on the screen.

For this edition, we have chosen the following topics:

The CCFMC “Catalonian Committee for Continuing Medical Education” has granted 3 credits towards the completion of the Course.

There will be a long term follow-up presentation of cases operated in previous courses. We look forward to seeing you in Barcelona.

Programa de acompañantes 26 Septiembre 2012

Visita panorámica a la zona llamada Diagonal Mar y Fórum para ver la ampliación de la ciudad, la zona marítima y los nuevos barrios financieros de Barcelona. Almuerzo en el restaurante Bra-vo, situado en el Hotel-W Barcelona ,uno de los hoteles de más nueva construcción en primera línea de mar. De regreso, visita a Montjuïc, sede de las principales instalaciones olímpicas, y visita guiada al Museo Nacional de Arte de Cataluña (MNAC), que alberga la mayor colección de pintura románica del mundo.

27 Septiembre 2012

Visita al casco antiguo de la ciudad: Barrio Gótico y Barrio de la Ribera visitando la Catedral de Barcelona y su Claustro, la Iglesia de Santa María del Mar y la Plaza del Rey. Paseo por las Ramblas (se recomienda calzado cómodo) y visita al Mercado de la Boqueria, uno de los mejores mercados de Europa donde descubrirá el porqué de la proyección y reconocimiento internacional de la cocina mediterránea. Visita y almuerzo en el “Cercle del Liceu“ situado en el mismo edificio del “Gran Teatro del Liceu “ (al ser un res-taurante reservado solamente para socios, se solicita a los caballeros que vistan americana y corbata).

Visita panorámica a algunas de las obras modernistas de Gaudí, en especial al edificio de La Pedre-ra. A continuación, visita al Museo Picasso y almuerzo en el restaurante la Fonda Gaig.

Spouse’s program September 26, 2012

Panoramic visit to the called Diagonal Mar and Forum to see the extension of the city, the maritime zone and the new financial districts of Barcelona. Lunch at the Bravo restaurant, located in the W-Barcelona hotel, one of the newest hotels built next to the sea. On the way back, visit to Montjuïc, seat of the main Olympic facilities and a guided visit to the National Museum of Art of Catalonia (MNAC), which holds the biggest collection of Romanesque paintings of the world.

Visit to the old historic part of the city (Barrio Gótico and the Ribera District): Barcelona Cathedral and its cloister, Santa Maria del Mar, Plaza del Rey, etc. Walk down the Ramblas (comfortable footwear is recommended) and visit to the Boqueria market, one of the best markets in Europe where you will discover why Mediterranean cooking is internationally known. Visit and lunch at the “Cercle del Li-ceu“, located in the Gran Teatro del Liceu building (to wear a jacket and a tie is required for men, as it is a restaurant only for members).

Panoramic visit to some of the Gaudí’s Modernist works, and especially to the La Pedrera buil-ding. Visit to the Picasso Museum and lunch at the Fonda Gaig restaurant.
