Stations of the Cross
This year we will have the Stations of the Cross in both English and in Spanish. Beginning Thursday after Ash Wednesday and every Thursday during the Lenten Season we will have the Stations of the Cross in Spanish immediately after the daily Mass (around 7:15 p.m.) in the main church. Beginning the Friday after Ash Wednesday and every Friday during the Lenten Season we will have the Stations of the Cross in English immediately after the daily Mass (around 7:15 p.m.). In addition the Daily Mass on Thursday and Friday will be celebrated in the main church dur- ing the Lenten Season only.
I am requesting any of our parish ministries and organizations who would like to help facilitate the Stations of the Cross on either day to contact the parish office and to sign up.

Clerical Endowment Fund (C. E. F.) Prayer Cards: Available in the Parish Office for a donation of $2.00 or $5.00. Perpetual Cer- tificates are also available. These enrollments make excellent gifts for many occasions. Pro- ceeds from these donations are used to educate Seminarians in the Diocese. The Fund is also used to make low interest loans to parishes for building programs. This has been a project of the Austin Diocesan Council of Catholic Women since 1948.

Total Consecration Rosary and Mass: In Fatima, Our Lady said,
“My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.” On this 70-Year Anniversary of our Diocese, please join thousands of Faithful throughout our Diocese to collectively make or renew our “Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary” at a special Holy Mass on the Annunciation of the Lord. Rosary and Mass will be offered on Monday, April 9th at 6pm at Saint Mary Cathedral (Austin), at 6:30pm at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church (in Extraordinary Form, College Station), at 5pm at Saint Joseph Church (Killeen), and at6:30pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (Martindale). Infertility & Miscarriage Support: Sarah’s Hope & Abraham’s Promise is a spiritual support program for couples struggling with infertility and miscarriage. Based on Catholic teaching, we combine the wisdom of modern medicine with the healing power of the Catho- lic Church. We offer a women’s Bible study support group, couples healing retreats and prayer services throughout the year.
Adoption Support: Destined: Families Built by Love is a spiri- tual support program and monthly playgroup for adoptive families.
Anyone who has built their family through the miracle of adoption is invited to meet with other families to share the joys and challenges of adoption and fostering. The playgroup meets once a month in dif- ferent areas of Austin.

On August 1, 2016, the Diocese of Austin will begin using a new education program for our EIM workshop, which will replace our current Basic/Refresher workshop format.
The new program is a significant update of current training programs and we believe it is important for all persons that are required to be EIM compliant to participate in this program and receive this updated information. Consequently, all clergy, religious, seminarians and employees, and all volunteers serving in ministry to minors or the vulnerable, will attend this new program when they are next due for a workshop. Ad- ditionally, anyone new to the Diocese of Austin, wishing to serve in ministry here, must attend this new EIM workshop in order to be compliant with diocesan EIM policies.

El día 1ero.de agosto del 2016, la Diócesis de Austin comenzará a usar un nuevo programa educativo para el taller de EIM (Ética e Integridad en el Ministerio), el cual reemplazará el formato de nuestros talleres Básico y de Actualización. El nuevo programa es una actualización significativa a los programas actuales y creemos que es importante para todas las personas a quienes les es requerido cumplir con el programa de EIM que participen en este programa y reciban esta información actualizada. Por consiguiente, todo el clero, religiosos(as), seminaristas y empleados(as), y todos los voluntarios(as) sirviendo en ministerios a menores o vulnerables, atenderán este nuevo programa cuando les toque asistir a un taller. Adicionalmente, cualquier persona nueva en la Diócesis de Austin que desee servir en un ministerio aquí, deberá, prim- eramente, asistir a este nuevo taller de EIM para poder estar en cumplimiento con las políticas diocesanas de EIM. La verificación de un entrenamiento para el ambiente seguro de una diócesis previa ya no se acepta como entrenamiento en la Diócesis de Austin.
