Spanish Interactive Notebook

includes activities that can be used as individual worksheets or combined to create a unique student notebook.

What is an Interactive Notebook?

1. Interactive notebooks are a student’s personal notebook where they can record the information they are learning in a creative and interactive way.

2. Student’s take responsibility for their own notebooks and learning using the grading rubric.

3. The interactive notebook is used to take class notes, complete

interactive projects, study for tests, and record game points.

Teaching & Editing Suggestions:

After viewing this entire product, decide which pages you will use. Begin printing as needed. Consider laminating the front & back cover of the student’s notebooks for durability and then binding all pages into a notebook. You can also use a 3-ring binder or spiral binder. You may also want to consider using one of the anchor charts as the back cover. Introduce your students to their interactive notebook through the cover, table of contents, and examples. Allow students to edit or fill out their individual pages while taking notes during class. Consider showing the pictures of the completed project on your whiteboard, that are included in this PDF, before giving the assignments.. Students will then have an idea what their final product could look like. Games can be played in groups of two or larger. They are also great as a whole class activity! This

Spanish Interactive Notebook

includes a

variety of graphic activities that will allow your students

to have a visual connection with each concept. The

concepts included are basic concepts for the beginning

Spanish student. Students will conjugate new verbs while

learning to compare and contrast different kinds of verbs.

All activities include pages that can be added to an

Interactive notebook and used as a print & go class

activity.

I use this set with my level 1 Spanish students,

introducing new concepts with the help of anchor charts and visual aids.

I then use the note booking pages as an interactive activity and allow the

students to use them to take notes during class. Afterwards, I have them

spend part of their time working on their interactive notebook and/or

playing the corresponding games. Students then take their notebooks

home to complete the lesson as homework and also use it to study for

quizzes. Their notebooks are then graded as part of their overall grade.

This interactive notebook set includes:

Instructions: Cut out & fold alphabet foldables. Attach to notebook. Write the correct

phonetic sound and a least one word for each letter.

El alfabeto game: One person picks a letter of the alphabet. The next person picks says

a word that begins with that letter. Keep track with points. Every right answer gets 1 point. The person with the most points wins!

Challenge: Put each word into a sentence for 5 point bonus! Ex. La dama está aquí. Don’t

forget to write down your sentences in your notebook!
