Yesterday, I was at court around 5:15 pm, to find out what was going on with the preliminary

investigation. Dr. Álvarez sent the proceedings to legal advisory yesterday morning, and they sent it to the presidency in the afternoon. The prosecutor’s investigation is in the hands of Dr. Jhoana Pesantez. She is inter-institutional director of the Supreme Court (advisor to the president of the Supreme Court). I spoke with her, she is a very young woman, and is very willing to help us, but she wasn’t clear on why the prescription. But after I explained it to her a little, she understood that there are only few days left, and she agreed to issue the order as soon as possible. She stayed yesterday reviewing the case record, and I’m sure she will talk to the president today.

We have to wait until Monday because they are traveling to Cuenca today, in other words we lost one more day.
