Israel cuenta con Tratados de Libre Comercio con la Unión Europea, los Estados Unidos, los países pertenecientes al EFTA., México, Canadá y Jordania. En el mes de diciembre de 2007 ha sido firmado un Tratado entre Israel y MERCOSUR, aunque a la fecha aún falta la ratificación del mismo por parte del Congreso argentino.

H – PRODUCCIÓN Y CONSUMO

H.1. ANÁLISIS DEL MERCADO Y TENDENCIA DE LA DEMANDA La madera se utiliza principalmente para la producción de tableros de

madera de diferentes tipos, destinados en su gran mayoría a la industria para la elaboración de muebles y artículos de carpintería.

Parte de la madera consumida se encuentra estrechamente ligada a la

construcción de viviendas. Su consumo varía de acuerdo al desarrollo del sector constructor.

En los últimos años se ha incrementado el uso de M.D.F. (Medium Density Fiberboard) y por lo tanto la demanda de estos productos se encuentra en constante crecimiento mientras se produce una reducción en la producción de varios de los productos alternativos.

I - PRACTICAS COMERCIALES MAS USUALES I.1. CANALES DE COMERCIALIZACIÓN

La distribución de madera se efectúa en forma directa de las empresas productoras o importadores al sector industrial o mayoristas.

I.2. PRINCIPALES CENTROS DE CONSUMO DEL PRODUCTO

Los grandes consumidores de artículos de madera son cuatro empresas

dedicadas a la producción e importación de madera aserrada, hojas para chapado y contrachapado, tableros de partículas y similares, tableros de fibra de madera,

madera chapada, contrachapada y estratificada.

Los consumidores finales de artículos elaborados de madera son empresas dedicadas a la fabricación de muebles para el hogar y artículos varios utilizados en la construcción.

I.3. FORMAS DE PAGO MAS USUALES

Las condiciones de pago mas usuales, en la compra al exterior varían desde efectivo C.A.D a 90-120 días de fecha de embarque (Packing List).

Las condiciones de pago mas usuales en este sector, en el mercado interno varían entre corriente + 60, 90 y 120 días.
