CELEBRATIONS FOR JUNE 2013
Father Vaccaro will celebrate his fifth anniversary of ordination
on June 14. He has only been with us for almost two years, he has already made a great impression as he works with the
Young Adults, CYM, the Doves, and other parish & school groups. He is very dedicated to his vocation and we are so lucky he is here with us at Our Lady of Angels. Please take the time to remember our clergy with a note card and word of thanks for the important work they provide us in our spiritual journey.
Our Deacon, Danny Johnson, was ordained a Deacon on June 1, 1985. He has been assigned to our parish and has served us well these past twenty-seven years. We are grateful for his dedica-tion and sense of humor. We are blessed that he has been such an integral part of our lives here at Our Lady of Angels.
We are in need of volunteers to assist with the pantry and other SVdP activities. If you are interested in participating, please contact us at svdp.olaconf@gmail.com.

COLLECTION FOR GOD’S SPECIAL CHILDREN
Bishop Loverde has once again endorsed Porto Charities “Special Kids”, Special Needs Collection” on behalf of intellectu-ally and developmentintellectu-ally challenged youth within the diocese. Next Sunday there will be a second collection to assist special need programs such as the Paul VI, Pope John Paul the Great, and St. Mark’s School Special Education Option Programs, the Helen Keller program which provides audio-visual communica-tion capability to special needs students within the diocese. The Bishop has sanctioned this collection as a blessing for God’s Special Children, their families and this entire diocese.
