TITULO DE LA PROPUESTA: Repaso Pasado Simple del verbo TO BE en sus tres formas. Verbos regulares en pasado simple en sus tres formas.
1. Choose whether to use WAS or WERE or WASN’T or WEREN’T.
a. How old was/were Richard last year? was/were he ten or eleven?
b. When was/were Susan’s baby born?
c. In what season was/were they born?
d. They wasn’t/weren’t (not) born in Spring, I’m sure.
e. Uncle Tom wasn’t/weren’t (not) at home yesterday evening.
f. Bob was/were at the beach with his friends. They was/were all very happy.
g. Where was/were you at 11 o’clock?
2. Complete with the was / were.
A: Where __________ Shirley last Saturday?
B: She __________ at the stadium.
A: __________ you there, too?
B: No, I __________ at home. And you?
A: My brothers, my sisters and I __________ at the exhibition. By the way, where __________ your brothers that day?
B: I don’t know where my brother Jim __________ . He __________ at home with me but the others __________ .

Verbos REGULARES: llamamos verbos regulares a todos los verbos que no aparecen en la lista (lista de verbos IRREGULARES) del link y a estos se les agrega ED. Es decir que tenemos dos grupos: verbos regulares con ED y verbos IRregulares en la lista. En esta guía veremos solo los verbos REGULARES.
Esto es muy fácil! Solo tenemos que respetar algunas reglas ortográficas.
En las oraciones AFIRMATIVAS aplicaremos las reglas de arriba. Hagamos algunos ejercicios para entender mejor.
1. Write the following verbs in Past Simple. (Escribe las siguientes verbos en pasado simple)

Si el verbo termina con "e" solo agregamos "d"
stop→ stopped plan→ planned
Si el verbo termina en vocal y consonante, la consonante se duplica
try→ tried carry→ carried
Si el verbo termina en consonante + "Y" , cambiamos la "Y" por i y nos queda "ied"
play→ played enjoy→ enjoyed
Pero si el verbo termina en VOCAL + "Y", solamnete agregamos "ED" sin cambiar la "Y"

Cuando armamos oraciones negativas necesitamos agregar “Didin’t” antes de la acción principal. Como podemos ver en la siguiente tabla.
