Pastor: Mis ojos están siempre hacia Jehová, Porque él sacará mis pies de la red.

demandado a Jehová, ésta buscaré; Que esté yo en la casa de Jehová todos los días de mi vida, Para contemplar la hermosura de Jehová, y para inquirir en su templo.

Pastor: 5 Porque él me esconderá en su tabernáculo en el día del mal; Me ocultará en lo reservado de su morada;

2 People: And now my head shall be

lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy;

Pastor: I will sing and make melody to the LORD.

CONFESSION AND

ABSOLUTION

Pastor: Let us make confession of our sins to God, our gracious heavenly Father.

People: Eternal God, we confess that we are sinners in need of forgiveness. By nature we are sinful from the very beginning of our life. Through our thoughts, words, and deeds, we continually sin against You. We have lived for ourselves in many ways, breaking Your commands that direct us not to lie, steal, or transgress Your holy will. We have walked in the darkness of bad choices and have left unfulfilled opportunities to do good and be blessings to others. O God, in Your mercy, forgive our sin and free us from selfishness and indifference, that we may joyfully followYour will and gladly obey Your commandments.

Pueblo:6 Luego levantará mi cabeza sobre mis enemigos que me rodean,

Y yo sacrificaré en su tabernáculo sacrificios de júbilo;

Pastor: Cantaré y entonaré alabanzas a Jehová.

CONFESION AND ABSOLUCION

Pastor: Confiemos nuestros pecados a Dios, nuestro misericordioso Padre celestial.

Pueblo: Dios eterno, confesamos que somos pecadores que necesitan perdón. Por naturaleza somos pecadores desde el principio de nuestra vida. A través de nuestros pensamientos, palabras y hechos, continuamente pecamos contra ti. Hemos vivido por nosotros mismos de muchas maneras, quebrantando Tus mandamientos que nos dirigen a no mentir, robar, o transgredir tu santa voluntad. Hemos caminado en la oscuridad de las malas decisiones y hemos dejado las oportunidades no cumplidas de hacer el bien y ser bendiciones para los demás. Oh Dios, en tu misericordia, perdona nuestros pecados y líbranos del egoísmo y la indiferencia, para que sigamos alegremente tu voluntad y obedezcamos gustosamente tus mandamientos.

Graciously forgive our sins and direct us in ways of compassion and love.

Pastor: God promises to hear those who turn to Him with repentant hearts. Upon this your confession, in the stead and by the command of my Lord Jesus Christ, and by His authority, I forgive you all your sins in the name of the Father and of the  Son and of the Holy Spirit. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it. Be at peace.

Lord Jesus, Your grace is with us all our days, look on us in mercy and renew us by Your Holy Spirit.

Perdona nuestros pecados con tu gracia y dirígenos en tu de compasión y amor.

Pastor: Dios promete oír a aquellos que se vuelven a Él con corazones

arrepentidos. Por cuanto han confesado sus pecados; en el lugar y por mandato de mi Señor Jesucristo, y por Su autoridad, les perdono todos sus pecados en el nombre del Padre y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo.
