ﺐﻴﻟﺎﺳﺃ -5 :ﻢﻠﻌﺘﻟﺍﻭ ﻢﻴﻠﻌﺘﻟﺍ 5-Teaching and learning methods
Lecture: lectures are held weekly on Sundays at 11.30 am – 12.30 pm. throughout the semester.
Clinical practice: Students are divided into 6 groups, each group has the opportunity to rotate in Dar-Elsaada elderly home for 2 weeks / semester. Clinical days start Monday through Thursday from 8.30 am– 1.30 pm.
Health education classes: Students will conduct these classes in the home.
Nursing care plans for both long and short-term care for elderly residents.
Clinical assignments:- : Students are required to represent at least one written assignments. Instructors will schedule assignments times within the semester for discussing assigned clinical topics.

6.1. Attendance criteria: Students should attend not less than 75% of practical classes as an essential prerequisite to be legible for the final exams.
62. Written Examination to assess both the theoretical and practical achievement of the students.
6.3. Oral examination to assess students’ abilities to express self and discuss logically.
6.4. Practical examination to assess clinical skills and abilities for problem solving.
6.5. Semester work and log books to assess clinical achievements.

includes: Written examination composed of MCQs, case study/problem solving and short essay-type questions.
Final examination The end of the semester. It includes written examination for one hour written paper composed of MCQs, case study/problem solving and short essay-type questions.

One oral examination station with 2 staff members (15-20 minutes: 4-5 questions).
