Potential Candidates: Graduates of English Depatments in faculties of Arts, Alsun and Education and other equivalent disciplines (grade GOOD)
1. Duration: six semsters (Full-time) 2. Total Credit Hours: 36 credit hours
Semester One
- Principles of Applied Linguistics (3 credits)
- Research Methods in Applied Linguistics (3 credits)
- Methodology in ESP (3 credits)
Semester Two
- Syllabus Design and Materials Development (3 credits)
- Technology and Language Teaching (3 credits)
- Corpora in ESP (3 credits) Semester
Three
- Testing and Assessment ( 3credits) - Professional Discourse Studies (3
credits)
- Advanced Research Methods (4 credits)
Semester Four
Dissertation (equivalent to two-four-credit modules)
Admission requirements
1. An application form from the College of Language and Communication, Alexandria, with a recent photo.
2. An original copy of the Bachalor’s degree
3. An original script of hte Academic IELTS (at least 6.5 overall and 5.5 in each skill) or an equivalent score in TOFEL iBT 4. An application form from the Registeration and Admission Deanery in the Arab Acadmey
5. A recommendation letter signed by the applicant’s employer 6. A copy of the ID card or passport
7. Four recent personal photos (six months old) 8. A copy of the military certificate when applicable
