Trabajos de Estudiantes
Los estudiantes de grado están especialmente invitados a presentar trabajos que se refieran a proyectos universitarios o experiencias grupales teniendo en cuenta las sesiones técnicas mencionadas anteriormente.

La fecha límite para el envío de resúmenes: 1 de abril, 2016.
La fecha límite para el envío del trabajo final: 27 de mayo, 2016.
Todos los trabajos finales aprobados serán publicados en los proceedings (CD-Rom) y entregados a todos los participantes al comienzo del evento. Los derechos de publicación de los trabajos escritos y presentados en las Conferencias son reservados exclusivamente al Instituto Argentino de Siderurgia (IAS).

Deadlines
All accepted papers will be published in the CD-Rom proceedings and given to attendees on arrival at the Conference.
Publishing rights of the written final papers and those presented at the Conferences are exclusively reserved to the Instituto Argentino de Siderurgia (IAS).

Luego del gran éxito obtenido en la Conferencia 2014 y en la nueva frecuencia bianual, se convoca a toda la comunidad siderúrgica a la 21ª Conferencia del Acero IAS y Expo IAS 2016, con el mismo criterio abarcando desde materias primas hasta productos finales e incorporando sesiones especiales de Seguridad y Medio Ambiente. Este será indudablemente el evento del año, ¡no se lo puede perder!
Los resúmenes correspondientes a la llamada de trabajos estarán incluidos en las siguientes sesiones técnicas:
- Reducción - Acería - Laminación
- Procesos Posteriores, Productos y Aplicaciones - Mantenimiento y Automación
- Seguridad y Medio Ambiente
El resumen debe ser escrito en español o portugués y en inglés y debe proveer información suficiente para su evaluación incluyendo, objetivo, metodología utilizada y las conclusiones o resultados del trabajo.

After the great success of the IAS Steel Conference 2014 and the new biannual frequency, the entire steel community is called to the 21st Conference Steel IAS and Expo IAS 2016, using the same criteria as previous years, ranging from raw materials to end- products, and incorporating a special session on Safety and Environmental Issues. This is the event of the year and one that cannot be missed!
Abstracts to the general Call for Papers will be organized into the following sessions:
- Ironmaking - Steelmaking - Rolling
- Processing, Products and Applications - Maintenance and Automation
- Safety and Environmental Issues
The abstract must be written in Spanish or Portuguese and in English and it must provide sufficient information for a fair assessment including the objective of the paper, the methodology used and the conclusions or results of the work.
