University of Michigan
A postdoctoral research fellowship is available, with a focus on genetics, epigenetics, and functional genomics in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, in a productive laboratory at the University of Michigan. Successful candidates must hold a PhD in genetics or
Immunology. Applicants with experience in DNA methylation are preferred. The applicant is expected to complement our studies in understanding the functional significance of DNA methylation changes and genetic susceptibility loci in lupus and Behcet’s disease upon disease susceptibility, using in vitro and in vivo assays. Applicants must be within 1-2 years of the time they obtained their PhD and must demonstrate a clear interest in pursuing an independent career in science.
Interested candidates should send their CV to Amr Sawalha, MD at [email protected] Link: http://umjobs.org/job_detail/70206/research_fellow
