Hi,
I have a task where i have to draw lines with a fixed length in qgis (like 10 or 15m) on a base map. The coordinate-system is suitable for that task. But how do I draw the lines?
Am I correct in understanding that you are editing a polyline dataset and manually digitizing lines, and that you want to make sure they are a specified exact length when you create the new feature?
If so, bring up the advanced digitizing panel (not toolbar), click the enable button, then start your new feature (i.e. left-click to place the first vertex), press 'd' on the keyboard then (without allowing the mouse to move at all) type in your distance and press enter. That distance should now be locked-in and you just chose a direction and left-click to add the second vertex.

Robbie Austrums will test it thank you
Robbie Austrums thank you.. It works like a charm
