View of The development of human resource in the tourism sector of Mexico

View of Implementation of strategies for tourism development of the municipality of Tlaxco, Tlaxcala. Mexico

In 2015, the municipality of Tlaxco is named Pueblo Mágico, although it is true that it has tourist wealth, according to the Annual Report on the Poverty Situation 60.22% of the population is in a state of poverty, therefore, the objective is to make tourism activity the engine of growth of the municipality through a planning of products and services that meet the needs of the tourist and those of the destination, based on a previously made diagnosis of the tourist inventory. For this, an instrument was designed whose sample was taken contemplating 118 companies that are directly linked to tourism, 36 surveys being applied. According to the results, 100% of respondents believe that Tlaxco can reach a more visited destination and although 66.7% have a high level of satisfaction residing in Tlaxco, 88.9% believe that although tourism has increased, public services have not improved. However, although 72.2% consider that the influx of tourists has increased, 58.3% consider that the tourist activity of the town is limited. Of the development plans that have been implemented, 44.5% of respondents have heard those plans but have no total knowledge of them. Therefore, it is essential that the opinion of the residents be taken into account, so that new activities and attractions for visitors are implemented in this way.

View of Territorial attractiveness: analysis of the factors that influence the tourism development of the destinations

This paper aims to analyze the factors that influence the development of tourist territories in Mexico. Some destinations have important natural resources; however, they do not reach a position in the tourist market. The development of the destinations is closely related to its territorial attractiveness and the tourism projects implemented. A theoretical review and analysis of the variables that influence the development of the territories as tourist destinations were carried out: tourism actors, tourism resources, infrastructure and public policies. 173 documents were analyzed in the following destinations: Cancún 22.5%, Huatulco 32.4%, Puerto Vallarta 27.7%, and Los Cabos 17.3%. The results revealed that the most important factors in the development of destinations in general for Mexico are the actors and natural resources. However, in Tabasco a particular contrast is observed, these factors do not necessarily influence its tourism development. This destination has the key factors for its development, but it does not manage to develop as an important national destination. The tourism authorities only need to encourage their development based on their potential as a territory. In conclusion, territorial and tourist attractiveness will continue to be determinant of the development of the destination. Natural resources and actors were the factors that most influenced the development of these destinations. But, the organization responsible for promoting the destination in this country requires working hard in the management and development of the territories, coordinating all the factors in order to promote their tourist attractiveness.

View of Tourism in Mexico development planning (2000-2024)

The Mexican State assumes the rectory of development, therefore the federal executive presents every six years a national development plan, which allows the development of sectoral, special, regional and institutional programs. Tourism is subsumed as a dynamic subsector of vital importance in planning for economic development, derived from its role as a foreign exchange provider and employment generator. The objective of this work is to identify and analyze the regulatory framework of tourism and its importance in the economic planning of Mexico in the period 2000-2024. The methodology applied is documentary type with an exploratory- descriptive design that uses secondary sources of information; the presidential reports and national development plans of the reference period were consulted. Results and conclusions: the economic development process has required the establishment of conditions that ensure the dynamism of the services sector, as well as fully addressing its problems, which has implied a thematic and priority variety in planning, where the economic activity of tourism has become in growth axis. In the review of the legal framework of tourism, suitable additions are detected that support and guide the design of the planning, and envisage actions that were materialized in the medium term in six- year terms and there is no comprehensive future planning, rather, tourism it is dependent on the trend of urbanization, investment and growth of tourist activities located as a safe offer and other productive activities that generate greater impact on the economy.

The review of past literature has re- flected the multifaceted function of human resource development in the hospitality industry. It requires proper strategic plan- ning to acquire, motivate, retain, and en- hance performance, loyalty, commitment and human touch. Many authors have laid emphasis on training and development that have substantial role to tune the employees with latest changes and development in the accommodation sector. Since, training is an important sub system of HRD that has already been incorporated in organizational policy and planning. Therefore, Training is considered as an inseparable function of HRD activity. Human resource is a key element to spearhead the progress of ac- commodation sector business. Hotels do conduct the need based training pro- gram in collaboration with professional institutes for the noble cause of effective utilization of human resources. View of importance of aerial lines in the Mexico tourism sector

Analysis of the presence of Anglicisms in a Spanish internet forum: some terms from the fields of fashion, beauty and leisure

Analysis of the presence of Anglicisms in a Spanish internet forum: some terms from the fields of fashion, beauty and leisure

It is unquestionable that the contact between English and Spanish represents a cultural and linguistic enrichment for the recipient language, Spanish in this case. These linguistic changes, mostly visible at the lexical level, may also bring cultural changes in the way people understand and express certain concepts by using English rather than Spanish. The adoption of these lexical innovations mirrors the acceptance of cultural patterns typical of the donor language and culture. Therefore, the findings of this study suggest some reflections on the degree of exposure to the English language and the Anglo-American culture on the part of Spanish speakers. More precisely, these domain- specific Anglicisms may exert a noticeable influence and have subsequent long-term effects on the Spanish sense of identity. As Bloomfield (1933: 445-458) asserted, “every speech community learns from its neighbors” and, consequently, “cultural loans show what one nation has taught another”.

Thus, when the Rockefeller Foundation arrived, the staff followed its standard plan of training. Teams began trainings with a cadre of emergency health workers that fit the role description of a nurse. Their education used a standardized nursing curriculum, known as “A Guide for planning basic Nursing Educa- tion Programs – Second Draft”, by the World Health Organization, the origins of which are not known. Prior to the foundation’s arrival, the first incarnation of the modern nurse in Brazil was in the form of health workers (lay women) visiting families at home (referred to as public health visitors) who were supervised by physicians. According to Parsons, however, the work of these public health visitors was so “deficient” that she felt compelled to train them as soon as she arrived in Brazil, “... before any disaster resulting from their ignorance de- stroys public confidence in public health nurs- ing...”. Her attitude toward the qualifications of nursing personnel was typical of the time as it was rare for a Rockefeller nurse or any nurse with American or British training origins to consider the roles or training of nursing per- sonnel in other countries as adequate, as mul- tiple accounts from nurses abroad relay in the first fifty years of publications of the American Journal of Nursing (Oguisso, 2007).

View of Effects of the Absorption Capacity in the Innovation of the Industrial Sector in the North of Mexico | Nova Scientia
