All children who will have attained the age of six (6) years by February 1 of any school year or who are older than six (6) years of age, but have not attained the age of 18 years must
attend school regularly during the entire school term.
Kindergarten students must be in attendance for a minimum of 162 days, as a criteria for progression to first grade. The
Principal may, in consultation with the teacher, deny promotion based on this criteria.
Make sure to get a good night rest

Bring school supplies on first day or during independent testing time

Car riders can be dropped off beginning at 7:30 AM. Please do NOT drop students off earlier as there is no supervision before 7:30 AM.
Bus riders must live outside the two mile radius of the school. If you are within the two miles, paid bussing may be an option.
Students must have a bus pass prior to riding. All Kindergarten students wear a bus tag and must be picked up by an adult on their pick-up list. All adults MUST have an ID when picking up a Kindergarten student from the bus.

Please keep your child at home if they are sick or have a fever.
Students should be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.
If your child requires medication to be taken at school, the appropriate forms and prescriptions will be required.
Please do NOT send any medication in to school with your child.

Breakfast is served daily to all Brevard County students, at no cost.
At this time, free lunch is also served daily at University Park.
