The school itself will also be locked to prevent entry or exit from the school until the lockdown is lifted. Crisis management plans are located in each room occupied by students and should be followed in the event of a crisis.

MEDICAL AND HEALTH INFORMATION E MERGENCY I NFORMATION F ORM
Valley View School District offers home instruction to all eligible students whose academic programs have been interrupted due to medical conditions expected to render the student medically unable to attend school for two (2) or more consecutive weeks or on a continuous basis with breaks of at least two (2) days at a time in multiples totaling at least 10 days or more absences during the school year. The physician's statement must specify 1) the student's condition, 2) the impact this condition has on the student's ability to attend school, and 3) the expected duration or nature of the student's absence.
BUS TRANSPORTATION General Information
Stay away from the bus until it comes to a complete stop and the driver signals you to get on. Children should stay ten meters away from the bus (or as far as possible) and never walk behind it.
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES/DISCIPLINE PROGRAM

In addition to the regular radio and television notification systems already in use, ParentLink will be used to call parents if there is an emergency at the school, such as building closures due to inclement weather.
