The Elantra GT was engineered to deliver a fun, sporty driving experience. With its 2.0L Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine, the Elantra GT is able to precisely control the injection of fuel for improved power and fuel efficiency. The available Drive Mode Select system further enhances your drive by tailoring both throttle response and steering effort to match your preferred driving style.

In addition to seven standard airbags, including a driver’s knee airbag, the Elantra GT features standard Blind-Spot Collision Warning with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning.

Standard Blind-Spot Collision Warning with Lane Change Assist¹

This system lets you know if a vehicle is in your blind spot. Plus, our innovative system also senses the speed of the vehicle in the adjacent lane. If it’s approaching faster than you can safely make the lane change, it will signal an alarm.

Standard Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning²

Activated during reverse driving, the Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning uses radar to warn the driver of vehicles approaching from either side, even before they come into view of the standard rearview camera.
